I know that douching is generally frowned upon... but I've had a very light brown flow going on three days now (I'm just coming off of a period FYI). I'd really like to have sex with my boyfriend, but the blood freaks him out. If I douche beforehand, will it help this old blood get washed away any quicker? This period is hanging on like there's no tomorrow and I'd really like to be done with it!!

No douching is for the vagina............the blood comes from your uterus.

You're right douching is frowned upon a lot I don't think you should douch but if you really really want to have sex I guess you can but I guess the brown blood is from old blood I know that sounds gross but that's what it is. I hope this helps

chilly water is the suitable ingredient to apply in eliminating blood from some thing. practice very chilly water, then blot with an excellent type of paper towel. do no longer rub the spot with the paper towel by any ability.

douching done every once in awhile is ok, so do it, it will probably help 'get the rest out' and you will feel fresher too

It will only get rid of what is inside at the moment. The uterus will continue to shed its lining though, at what rate you can't tell.
