Just wash as you normally do - with a gentle soap and warm water - but only on the outside. Douching isn't necessary, and can even cause problems.

From the website:
**
Regular vaginal douching changes the delicate chemical balance of the vagina and can make a woman more susceptible to infections. Douching can introduce new bacteria into the vagina which can spread up through the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes. Researchers have found that women who douche regularly experience more vaginal irritations and infections such as bacterial vaginosis, and an increased number of sexually transmitted diseases.
Even after a period, or after sex, the vagina is able to get rid of blood, sperm, and bacteria, on its own. It doesn't need any help from the douches sold over the counter. I can't believe they're still available. I can't think of a reason to use them.

Okay, first, DO NOT USE SOAP. warm water is good enough. If you feel the need to use a cleanser, then talk to your DR. or pharmacist about feminine hygene cleansers. You can find them in the same isle as the pads and tampons. Some soaps, no matter how mild, can cause yeast infections.

Never douche while on your period!!! Actually, it is recomended that you never douche at all as it causes an imbalance in your body's natural ph levels. That can cause yeast infections among other things.

Really, just take a clean, soft wash cloth, soak it in warm water, and wipe yourself.

If you use pads normally, and want to make sure you are clean when changing your pads try this. Go buy some baby wipes. These are way cheaper than the "feminine wipes" that cottonelle and other companies sell. After you change your pad, or tampon and have used toilet tissue to clean up, use the baby wipes to "wash" your pubic area as well.

Hope that helps.

I don't suggest any kind of internal vaginal cleaning. Your vagina is a self cleaning unit, leav it up to that. As long as you shower and clean the outside you will be fine. Using self cleaning, can lead to serious infection and is not worth it. Talk about an uncomfortable pain! Keep clean in the shwer and that's all you need to worry about :)

Most doctors say that it is best to let your vagina clean itself. The vagina cleans itself naturally by producing mucous. Women do not need to douche to wash away blood, semen, or vaginal discharge. The vagina gets rid of it alone. Also, it is important to note that even healthy, clean vaginas may have a mild odor.

Regular washing with warm water and mild soap during baths and showers will keep the outside of the vagina clean and healthy. Doctors suggest women avoid scented tampons, pad, powders and sprays. These products may increase a woman's chances of getting vaginal infections.

You have to be kidding right? If not here we go, you take a wash cloth and your choice of soap (bar or liquid, preferably deodorant soap) lather the wash cloth and use it to clean your vaginal and rectal area in a back and forth or circular motion. I don't recommend a sit down bath because after you wash you have to sit back in the filth that you just washed off, unless you shower after soaking. Repeat this process rinsing wash cloth clean of soap and debris (wash vaginal area at least twice)or change wash cloths each time you wash, I always wash 2 to 3 times during each shower and shower twice a day.

You don't want to wash you vagina (inside) you want to wash your pubic area and labial lips (outside) and to do that all you'd need to do is use a mild soap to clean the area and rinse it well. Don't douch (you shouldn't even when you don't have your period) and don't spray water into your vagina, it's not necessary.

Easy! I lift my right leg up onto the side of the tub, take the detachable showerhead, make sure the water is at a good pressure and that it's hot, then I aim that showerhead to my vagina and ****. Of course I end up sitting in the tub because of the orgasms that I get, lol!

Just soap up the old Puff and wash away, then stand closer to the shower and wash the soap away, dry off and put fresh panties and pad on.

Wash yourself with soap and water just like you normally would-it's not any different than when you would normally shower!
