I feel like I suck at being a woman because I don't know the answer to this question! I am on birth control, and the 4th week I take the green reminder pills, and am supposed to have my period sometime that week. I always start the green pills on Tuesday, and then I start my period on Friday. I take the green pills through Monday and start a new pack of pills the following Tuesday. Still with me!?!? Ok, so...I am trying to figure out at what point my period is late...is it late when I start the green pills on Tuesday? Is it late when Friday goes by and I don't start? Or do I not consider it late until it is supposed to be over? Please answer if you know...I am trying to figure out when to take a pregnancy test, and I feel really lost. Thanks!!

Your period is officially late if Friday goes by and you don't start. The one good thing about birth control is that it does regulate your cycle. Sweetie you do not suck at being a woman, hell we have so much going on that its hard to keep up; pap smear, mammograms, bse, and don't even mention pregnancy. Relax and get a first response test.

Take a deep breath! Okay... hormones can have a nasty effect on the body and sometimes you may not get your period even though you are on the pill and take the green pills because of the hormones or other reasons. Stressing about it can delay your period too. If you are taking the pill correctly and don't get your period one month don't worry too much. If after the second month you still don't get your period then you may be pregnant or have some other issue that's preventing you from having your period. If you miss pills, there is a chance that you could be pregnant if another form of birth control was not used. You have to identify your risk of getting prenant based on how well you follow the prescribed method of taking the pill. If you think you are at high risk for pregnancy then consider not getting your period late by the Monday you start the new pack.

See your doctor ,you need a visual check up .
Just keep taking your pill as you normally would .Are you taking the pill to get regular or for birth control ?
You would take the test when your period would have started .
None of us know it all ,you are no different ,relax .
hope this helps .
