does anyone else on Yaz (the birthcontrol) have this problem??

i take my birthcontrol religiously at the same time every night, but i randomly will "spot" for a day or 2 occasionally. is this normal??

First, please remember that Yaz must be taken at the exact same time every day (which it sounds like you are doing, so props). :-)

Second, it's important to remember that your body will require up to 3 months to adjust to your birth control pills. During that time, irregular bleeding/spotting may occur.

If the above do not apply, then I'd suggest making an appointment to see your doctor/NP. Yes, Yaz certainly has a low dose of estrogen in it ... however, some people require a little bit more in order to straighten out their bleeding. Even a 35 microgram pill is still considered to be low dose, so don't fear changing your pill (Yaz is 20). If you like the progestin hormone in Yaz, you might just consider Yasmin. :-)

those are undesirable outcomes from YAZ. YAZ has a foul attractiveness for those outcomes. however, have you ever taken hormones earlier? that's because your body isn't used to taking hormones. supply it some months - the topics ought to flow away. in the journey that they don't, attempt switching to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo or another BCP. desire you sense better :)

Yep. If you are spotting in the middle week, then it may be a sign that it isn't strong enough, and you should talk to your doctor about changing to another pill. If you are still only in the first three months of taking it then don't worry, but if it continues after that then check with your doc.
