Very few people realize that a second Supreme Court decision on abortion was handed down on the same day as Roe v. Wade. It was called Doe v. Bolton, and it defined a woman's "health" as "all factors—physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the women’s age—relevant to the well-being of the patient." So, according to this ludicrous court decision, if a woman feels she is too young or too old to have a baby, or if she already has a big family, or if she doesn't feel emotionally "ready" for a baby, these are all considered "health" reasons for abortion. Even if abortion was made illegal except for "health of the mother," women could still abort their babies at any time for any reason based on the definition of health in Doe v. Bolton.
480 American physicians have testified that abortion is never necessary to save the life of a mother:

Abortion should be illegal, period. It is wrong to kill innocent human beings. Take a look at these early first trimester abortions:

and read about the baby's ability to feel pain in the first trimester:

I think it should be illegal unless a person was raped or it could kill the mother, or if the baby had something seriously wrong with it. Im tired of all these women who sleep around and then dont deal with the consequences of their actions. There is no excuse, if you cant take care of a child then adopt it to a family who isnt able to get pregnant. Abortion is murder. I agree with the day after pill, why dont we have it yet, you keep hearing about it coming to be over the counter in stores but they still havent done it yet.

Well that's tricky. What about if the BABY was servery deformed or Likely to die shortly after or during birth. I am not for abortions in the form of birth control but I do believe it needs to be available for medical and some social reasons like incest and rape. This is a highly emotional topic and I'm sure some answers you get will be truly shocking....

Third trimester abortions are cruel. At that point, the mother should have already made the decision that she was not capable of carrying the baby to term.

People are going to do it anyway. They will do it like they did before it ever became legal. Finding a Black Market Doctor to do so. And if that doesnt work.. girls are just going to try to do it themselves and in the process hurting them too! Its a touchy subject that Im sure people are going to agree and disagree about... but I think no matter what.. the Black Market is still out there and people will end up doing it illegally anyway.

Fine. I believe abortion is brutal even though I believe we should have rights to have them.
I hate the way this country hasn't had the day after pill for over 59 years when it was available in Europe the entire time.
Ripping a fetus and making it bloody for girls is like being in the stone ages. this medical paradigm is warped.

I think that this law would be better late than never. Abortion is murder of an innocent person.
