She was taken by ambulance this morning and she said earlier that they couldn't find out what was wrong. And now when I ask her what is wrong, she says to not worry about it. They are keeping here for three days. Is that bad?

I was at a pool recently and saw a group of about 6 mothers and kids who were "chicken fighting". I think it was a family, cousins, aunts...and the kids were about 9 or 10, mainly boys. After a while of the kids fighting on the mom's shoulders, one of the ladies laughed and said that it was their turn now. It was a joke, but they started trying it. I was amazed how many of the kids could actually lift the women on their shoulders! Most of the women were at least twice the size of the kids, but some of the kids could lift most of the women. There was a girl who could not lift anyone, and one heavier woman who nobody could lift, but overall, it was very surprising. It seemed that a couple of the shorter kids actually had more luck! The kids did not look to be unusually big, and the women were not particularly thin, except for one.
Is this unusual for kids to be able to do this? Did I see something amazing, or does this happen often?

I'm always so tired, and have a hard time getting going in the morning, so I'd like to change that in the quickest way by eating something or an energy drink that really works.. ya know.

So I have a preformance of 'High School Musical' tonight, and I have a fever. -_-

I'm not sure specifically what my temp is, but I'm really achey (my entire body feels likes it just got slammed against a brick wall and I'm about to crumble into a thousand pieces), and cold, and my throat is sore. My head is stuffed and I'm shaking. Plus, there isn't any understudies, I'm a major character (Taylor) and I have vocal solos.

Is there anything I can do other then tylenol to help me get through tonight. (and the TWO shows tommorrow?) Thanks in advance!

questions:

How important is medical terminolgy in this profession?

How did you learn medical terminology (in a class or on the job)?

Could you perform your job without knowing medical terminology?

What types of medical terms are used the most often in your job?

How often do you encounter a term that you are not familiar with or do not understand?

How do you find the answer to the terms you are not familiar with? ( ask someone or look it up in a dictionary)

If you did not take a medical terminology class, would you take one now before entering the health profession?

Should all healthcare professionals take a medical terminology class?

Please be descriptive. This is a research paper. I am legally blind and was advised to do my interview online rather than finding a way to go to a medical facility. I appreciate any help.

For three weeks now, I've had a pain/discomfort in my abdomen (including my lower back). It's either sharp or dull, but it's always been there. The pain started to go away, then hit me at full force. We went to the doctor and part of the problem was that I had gas trapped in my colon, so they put me on a laxative and I'm all flushed out now, but the pain is still there. I have nausea, pain/discomfort, bloated/feeling full all the time, fatigue, I shake every now and then (not much), low-grade fever, lower back discomfort, and I'm achy all over. Last night, it felt like some organ got trapped in my ribs and was stuck, it was a very serious dull pain in my upper abdomen and it scared me. So, I thought it might be a cyst and looked it up, then somehow leaded to Ovarian Cancer. It runs in my family and I'm hoping that this is not it. What do you think I have? Please be detailed. I'm going to the hospital on Thursday for an ultra sound (X-Rays have been done). PS, I'm 13.

For those of us who work behind a desk for the man we are placing our well being and health at risk to do a job. Humans where designed/ or evolved to sweat and exercise during the day not sit at a desk and type on a keyboard 8-10 hours a day.

The only exercise some of these people get is when their mouse is unplugged and they have to get under their desk to re-attach it. Watching these whales try to get under their desk and get that plugged in is like watching a retard screwing a doorknob. When they get back to their seat they are out of breath and sweating…very sad…and kinda funny.

I believe that all office workers should only have to work 7 hours a day and receive a free membership at the gym of their choice. The company could also choose to have exercise before work just like in the Army.

What do you think?….oh crap my mouse just got un-plugged….O…..K……Fix…ed …it. (heavy breathing)

I have a metallic taste in my mouth that I can't get rid of. Whenever I come in contact with someone with strong perfume, I can't explain it but I actually taste it in my mouth. No I didn't lick the person or the perfume cap so I can't understand why this happens. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes, smoke it. As in a joint. Not the actual peanut, but the red skins on the outside of it. Crushed up, and smoked, any health concerns?

Oh, and why? A friend told me that if you smoke it, it gets you higher than pot. I've never smoked anything, but I figured a high with no side effects, why the hell not... Any possible health problems though?
