Help! Help, for the last month or so I've been generating small currents of electricity.

Whenever I pass filing cabinets or metal chairs or tables i get shocked! And Whenever I touch people i get shocked and they get shocked.

And i think its getting worse!!!

Help any ideas!!

Very funny people!!!!

I don't wear silky thongs nor do i shuffle or drag my feet on the ground,nor do have dry skin or hair, nor do i work in a dry environment!!

I'm not joking I'm pretty serious I've checked all the different stuff you guys have recommended!

wear rubber soled shoes, and put a humidifier in your house/office.

hahahaha! We're all live wires! It's got a lot to do with dry weather I think... maybe it's the shoes you're wearing to work, maybe you're dragging your feet when you walk ...or maybe it's the material of your sweater. In the mean time, have fun with it...use it to make people do stuff for you like buy you lunch, or else you'll shock em!

Usually when you're conducting the electricity in the air, your skin and hair are extremely dry. You need a good moisturizer lotion and you need moisturizer for your hair. You need to use them everyday, that should stop the shocking.

I would seriously reccomend that you stop scrubbing your feet when you walk. I think that you R experiencing small cases of static electricity. However, I seriously reccomend that you get some professional help if this continues to get worse.

dont shuffle your feet when you walk
what are the souls of your shoes made of
the air is too dry ...use a humidifier
or you could have been taken by aliens and probed for this very reason

Oh wow!! You've discovered static electricity!! Your so unique!! lol. Dont panic!! It happens to eveyone. Bad shoes and old carpets with nylon at school used to make us practically light up! Touch your friends earlobes! That cures it! lol

dont drag your feet when you walk thats how your getting the shocks and giving them it generates electricity that way. Gl

that used to hapen to me too. I used to get shocked with every metal material that i touched, even people, but it was because when i overdried my clothes in the dryer, so that could be your problem.
