Yes, smoke it. As in a joint. Not the actual peanut, but the red skins on the outside of it. Crushed up, and smoked, any health concerns?

Oh, and why? A friend told me that if you smoke it, it gets you higher than pot. I've never smoked anything, but I figured a high with no side effects, why the hell not... Any possible health problems though?

Nobody, my friend told me that roasted skins will give you a slight-dizzy effect, but unroasted will get you in a "better" high than pot. Also, is a bong or waterpipe or whateverthehell still smoke inhalation?

I have never heard of this effect. Why don't you watch your friend when he smokes it and see if he gets high.Just about anything that can be made to burn could, at least in theory, be smoked. It doesn't mean it would be pleasurable or safe. You would at the very minimum be exposing your lungs to whatever tarry crud is evolved from the smoldering material; it couldn't possibly be harmless.

While your at it, some other things you could try smoking: pencil shavings, shredded coconut, dried out cockroaches, belly button lint, and the dust found in the bottom of jigsaw puzzle boxes.

It is not safe to smoke anything. Smoke from anything burning is bad for you.

We know what's in tobacco smoke, and we know what's in pot smoke, but peanut skins just haven't been studied that way. You want to put it in your body?

I don't know about peanut skins, but ask yourself this: If you could get high on peanut skins, don't you think that they would have become a fad a long time ago?

I did some checking on the net, and found the rumor, but no report of anyone getting high. Just dizzy.

Inhaling smoke into your lungs does hurt your lungs. Don't be silly.
