This happens fairly often: I am going about my business, when suddenly I feel as thought I have something in my eye. After a little while, regardless of whether I physically attempt to remove the irritation or not, I spot a clear, string-like apparatus in my eye. I remove it, and it's the same every time: It's about the length of my eye, as thin as a piece of thread, very stretchy, wet, with the consistency of what feels like jelly. If I leave it out in the air, it hardens and becomes very tough.

What is this that is in my eyes? Is it the lens shedding layers? Is it a particular illness? Any input is appreciated. All I know is that it is annoying as hell, and happens at least once every week or two.

What would the physiological effects be from injecting someone with liquidized cheese with a syringe of some sort? And would the effects differ depending on what kind of cheese is used? Thanks.

I'm going in to see my doctor because I've been losing a lot of weight lately. I took two really weak hits of weed last friday. Before that I haven't smoked weed since the beginning of last month. I will be checked up on monday. The doctor might be checking my blood and/or urine. Will he test for weed? and if so will he be able to detect any THC in my system?

I'm just curious about that. I cought a cold (head mostly) about 2 weeks ago. Was sick (feeling really bad) about 3 or 4 days. I started feeling better but I'm still coughing like nuts.

Going to the doctor is hard because I just don't have time because I work every day.

The head cold crap is gone, but this coughing is still going on.

Is there something i can do , naturally, to get over this crap? I'm about to lose my mind because when I lay down at night I have been coughing so much that I dont even sleep.

So I've heard there are some health benefits to drinking alcohol. But is it worth risking an addiction to it?

because he is the one that perfomed the surgery? He placed me on a temporary partial disability, and my other doctor placed me on a permanent partial. Should I continue seeing both of them?

My 8th grade daughter said this morning that she did not want to go to school. I told her she had to and she seemed fine and headed off. About 1:00, I got a call from the school nurse saying that my daughter was in her office with a stomachache/upset stomach. I went to the school to get her, and she was very quiet (she talks all the time). I got her home and she went to the basement to watch TV and came up about 1/2 hour later saying she felt fine. She is acting fine now and wants to eat. Do you think she is faking sick? She didn't have a fever at all. So, is she faking sick? Is there something going around?

Please cite your sources... what you have heard by word of mouth isn't that credible unless a doctor told you.

What does clear phlegm mean?
What does cloudy white phlegm mean?
What does yellow phlegm mean?
What does green phlegm mean?
