Our bodies go through different stages of sleep throughout the night. You go from light sleep to deep sleep and in between these stages you are dreaming in the REM state. These stages cycle throughout the night.

Try setting your clock about 45 minutes earlier than you normally do. I think you are probably trying to wake during one of the deeper stages of sleep. Simply changing your wake up time may be your answer.

edit: You mention that you're dieting. If you are lacking carbs in your diet, this could also be the cause of your exhaustion.

I recognise simply the way you consider - I've been via this and to some degree, nonetheless going via it. My challenge used to be anemia. I used to be so anemic that I used to be falling asleep at paintings and could not sleep ample whilst I used to be at residence - the ones have been the early indicators. Soon, my whole frame began to harm, I would infrequently stroll because of my movement grew to become so dangerous and my reminiscence began to grow to be nonexistent. I needed to have a blood transfusion to deliver my pink blood telephone depend up seeing that the iron capsules I used to be taking two times an afternoon weren't serving to. Anemia is critical. It has been identified to rationale critical disorders in your organs and close them down, to be able to talk. Since my transfusion, I have had surgical procedure to take a look at to proper the challenge. My anemia used to be because of immoderate blood loss via the direction of a month, in particular for the duration of my menstrual cycle. Be cautious. Wanting an excessive amount of sleep is an early signal of whatever. You would be experiencing whatever because of your thyroid and even despair. Please seek advice a medical professional as quickly as feasible. Good Luck!
