I run cross country, and only get th eoccasional blister, but I have a cluster of three blisters on the side of my left foot, like two inches under my big toe, and on the inside. It's swollen and it pains my foot even to walk barefoot. When I found them they were already deflated/popped. Any ideas on what I should do to get rid of them or prevent them?

Why does it spike instantaneously? Why does it drop quickly?

There is already a lot of information published about how blood pressure is regulated over time, I'm more interested in how blood pressure changes instantaneously given the fact that most mechanisms would require some time to change (kidneys).

My assumption is that muscles contract forcing more blood into the arteries. Is this correct.

I have pain the covers one side of my body, from my head to my feet. It switches sides everyday. It is like a straight line through my body and one side is fine and the other is in pain.
. My back hurts, just everything on that side hurts, what does this sound like?

first, i'm 4 months pregnant. i went into work this morning, and much to my lack of surprise (based on the general lack of maintenance of the building) they had released 3 bug bombs off in our, maybe, 20x10 ft lunch room and left the cans there on the floor. anyway, it was obvious they failed to cover anything; tables and chairs, coffee makers and paper coffee filters on the counter, salt and pepper, the toaster...you get the idea. there's also no ventilation in the room, the windows do not open. i went in to put my lunch in the fridge and noticed them. i tried my best not to touch anything and i called HR, they sent me home until they can deem everything safe. i'm a believer in protecting myself, though, and based on the way this company handles things (ie: the maintenance of the building) i don't really trust them to deem things "safe". my question is...is it? what do you know about bug bombs? anything i can read? personal experiences?

I am going to the doctors later to find out but i would like some opinions too.

I have a squeezing type of pain (can't even describe this pain accurately!) that is mainly off centre by my ribcage (in line with the inner edge of my breast), it travels from there to slightly lower and more central to the belly area and sometimes to my chest, it hurts when i breathe in (i am shallow breathing at the moment) and is worse in the morning and when i am sitting upright or standing and walking, it is effecting my daily routine obviously.

If no one knows it is fine i have at least written it down and it will be easier to tell the doctor now.

When I looked in the mirror today, I found one white hair..!
Note that I'm Asian and it's unusual to have one unless I'm aged, and that means I'm aging at 3X speed!

I never smoked, drink alcohol, have high adrenaline or doin' drugs. I lived safe and drink a lot of water everyday. What could possibly gone wrong..?

Today is my first day smoke free....
i am 21, and have been a smoker of about 10 a day for approx 6 years, however that 10 a day increased dramatically over the weekends when it could go up to anything along 30-40 a night.

Are there any other ex smokers out there that can let me know when the cough starts and roughly how long the nicotine and tar stays in the lungs / body.

Also if i have any other nasty little suprises to come!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks xx

Mostly in the kitchen the metal pots and pans. When someone's drying them off or rubbing it and they make this sound I always get goosebumps and it's the worst sound ever. And I always hated the feeling of metal spoons with my teeth so I only use plastic. Why am I like that?

But what if there is one sale but more than one person ie a couple or a family group all legally old enough to purchase and there is more than to packets? can you continue with the sale? what are the laws in UK?

I had my bellybutton pierced years ago now. It has just dawned on me that having that done, could be the reason for a lot of health problems i've been having. I looked into accupuncture and how it affects the body's energy flow, and also the effects of piercings. Supposedly the navel area is a very taboo area for such trauma and can interfere greatly with the body's energy flow in that area. Knowing this, and looking for any way to cure my health issues, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any way i could correct what i've already done to my body? Is there any way to reverse the energy imbalance i've caused my body?

I feel like staying up when it's dark and sleeping when it's light. In other words, it's kinda like my body thinks I'm on a night shift. I do know what caused it: I was up really late doing something super important and ended up going to bed at like 7 AM or so.

So my question: How can I get my sleep schedule back to normal? I want to go to bed at 12:00 AM and get up at 8:00 AM everyday.

I tried forcing myself to get up earlier so that I'm tired at night, but I just can't get up. My circadian rhythm is officially screwed up I'm afraid. I don't wanna take any sleeping pills or anything like that. Maybe you know of some kind of herbs or something, or maybe a technique to make me fall asleep when I want to?

Thanks for your help!
