i'm a 17 year old girl (i'm white), i'm 5'1 & weigh 92 lbs & am a 32A. my BMI is 17.2 (the lowest # that is still "safe" for my age), and my body fat percent is 16.4% (checked this online, don't know if it's correct)

i've been skinny all my life, i'm just made tiny. i'm also pretty active, i've been a dancer since i was 7 and i'm a black belt in TaeKwonDo. so i'm pretty fit. but i hate that i have virtually NO fat on my body at all :(

many many times i've tried to bulk up & gain weight. i've tried eating double what i usually do & drinking protein shakes & eat power bars. i always end up giving up because i never see results, even after months, and i get tired of eating so much.

is it possible that later in life (like early 20s or something) my metabolism might change to allow me to gain weight easier? it seems like it's impossible for me to gain any weight right now, will this change later on? or will i always be so freaking little? lol

serious & helpful answers only please

I've been having this migraine cycle for the past few weeks... which was at its worst on Sunday and Monday...

Anyways... during this cycle... I've had a few incidents of not remembering anything...
Once was a morning I woke up from the headache... and I couldn't remember where I was or anything... NOTHING!
Another time was last night... after my headache had started... when I was doing my hw... n suddenly I drew a blank... n I couldn't remember what I was doing for the past few hours!
There were other times... but these two were the most severe ones...

The memory losses haven't lasted for longer than a day... but its been bugging me!
I went to the dr for the migraine... she gave me pills to break the cycle... AND of course I forgot to tell her about this!

I'm also 22...

Going to a hospital or a rehab clinic is not an option because of money and I refuse to stick her in a state program because she doesn't want to be alone. The free health clinics will not help her until she is clean. I would like to know what I can give her to alleviate the symptoms of withdrawals? She has been addicted for 2 years.

It seems like most doctors don't actually LISTEN to your symptoms - they just hear a generalized symptom and throw a bunch of pills at the problem. Is there a way to weed out the doctors that are pill pushers and just get a good one that will actually try to fix things?

OK this is weird. 3 weeks ago I started feeling nauseated constantly. After 5 days, that went away. The next day I started having this weird, constant hunger-like feeling that would not go away no matter how much I ate. It took that 8 days to go away. I was completley fine for about 5 days and now the nausea is starting again. What could be going on?
I'm 14 and my mom seems to think it's stress-related so she won't take me to the doctor.

When I do the slightest bit of abnormal exertion, I am really sore afterward. For instance, last night I was cutting fairly thin plastic with scissors to make something, and this morning both hands are sore. This never used to happen. Is this because I'm getting older, need to be more active, or could it be a medical problem? I am 33.

I've read that showering is Step 1 before you get into a shower, and that you shouldn't shower your hair.

Why?

My 5 year old daughter has had a headache since yesterday, she also has a fever. We are due to see a doctor in a bit but I was wondering if it has something to do with the fact that my nan, mum and I have all been suffering with migraine and cluster headaches. I started getting them when I was 10, but 5 strikes me a bit young. This is not the first time she's complained about headaches either. Any advise??

I have to say, each to their own and I think smoking (anything) is a mugs game. I you feel you gotta do it then, it's your choice.

That aside, new findings show that regularly smoking cannabis can lead to psychotic illnesses !!

In recent times, it has been argued that cannabis can be a treatment for many illnesses, so does this latest claim come as a surprise to anyone?

Why does smoking help me poop?

Also, how to I poop without having to smoke. It's like the two are related now. I only smoke before I poop and if I don't smoke, then I don't poop on time.
