I am just TOO depressed, & I just found out I'm anemic. I feel like I'm about to break down & cry. I also don't have any energy at all. I've been depressed for years, but I feel worse now.

The anemia does not allow you enough energy to fight your depression through sheer will. You just don't have enough left to fight. Take your iron, get plenty and rest and get this anemia problem under control. Depression is hard to come out of. I hate to sound negative but you will never get over your depression being so run down with anemia. Take care of yourself, please.

oh gosh, anemia wouldn't make you depressed but it may worsten it because you will have less energy and feel like crap just because your body is lacking in iron. Eat more red meat. Eat a steak, or lamb, or some other red meat. You will feel better. I was anemic once

You really need to see a physician, and NO anemia has nothing to do with being depressed.........
