my daughter has been sick off and on since January. About every other week she gets a fever about 101.5. Then on top of that she has gotten strep throat and ear achs. She also, 5 weeks ago got a fever of 105. So today she has another fever, her ear was very red and i scheduled a doctors appointment. She was taking a nap and when I woke her up her ear had drained all over the side of her face, wiped it off and took her the drs. The dr told me nothing was wrong with her ear, there was no drainage in it and again told me she had strep throat, she had that 5 weeks ago also. I asked him if something else could be wrong and he told me i was worrying too much and its normal. Is this normal?

There is this person that me and my friends know that just get on our nerves everyday. This person would just take anything she sees; tasty cakes, gum, water bottles, chips, anything edible. Instead of jacker her, I thought that why don't we just add something spicy to our food so that when she grabs our snack, she can learn a lesson. We then thought of making mud cakes, and putting vinegar in a woter bottel, but then we thought about the possibility of her choking, or vomiting, or spitting (she spits anything out, once on my face!) then we'd get caught and be "charged" with attempted muder by poison. I need a safe, but good way to get her back that if we get caught, there's no evidence to prove that the snack was "tained". You might think we're evil, but after loosing $50 worth of gum, you might get a little irratated. What are some ways to get her back?

I have asked my wife to walk on my back to massage and "crack" it, but she thinks she is too heavy. Is it dangerous for a heavier woman to do this? What actual injuries, if any, could really occur? What do you think is the maximum "safe" weight of a woman to walk on the back of a 6', 180lb man?

I was dx with an osteoid osteoma last July. I have had the osteoma for at least 4 years. I have read things on the internet that say they usually resolve within 33 months but mine has not. It is painful, mostly at night, and aspirin helps. But, anytime it is touched or bumped it causes severe pain, and I work with kids all day so it gets bumped a lot. It is on the front of my lower leg--I think this bone is called the tibia. My questions are: has anyone had this and did it resolve on its own? How do I deal with the pain--is there some type of protective cover to keep it from being hit? Can and how is it removed surgically? Any other info is appreciated.

I am graduating this May and will have earned my RN. We have been doing extended clinical days ie 10 hours. By hour 5 my feet, knees, and back HURT. I want to know what kind of shoes provide REALLY good support since I plan to go into a hospital setting and most hospitals in this area have gone to 12 hr days. I want to last and not feel worse than my patients.

Thanks!

Will having too much caffeine throughout the day cause me to have more nightmares?

I drink between 3-5 glasses of iced green tea everyday and I've been having terrible nightmares. Not much has changed in my life so I'm assuming that could be why.

i have had two piano competitions in the last few days in Dublin. I live in Cork so it is about 4 hours up and down four times plus the playing. I supose i did put alot of energy in it but yesterday and today my head feels like there is a weight in it like it feels full and can't function. It is ok all right if i'm on the fone cos i was on it a while ago but other than that i get that feeling again! My eyes don't feel tired though but do you think my body is very tired. I know this may not sound like a big deal for you but for me it is.

Is it normal to have a mild astigmatism (like, -75/x100) but not need near/farsighted vision correction? Are contacts available for this type of correction? I've worn glasses for years and have recently thought about going to contacts, but didn't know if it's possible.

This blizzard I did some heavy snow shoveling.. ya..
Well I got 3 blisters on my right foot that turned into, after researching them, corns!!!! I can barely walk barefoot, and I have to wear slippers around the house. It hurts to just move my foot.

What the bloody hell can I do about 'em? They're ugly and gross. Big tough spot of skin, like a hole with a wart in it.
So disgusting.

I didn't think 16 year olds got these...
