i'm not sure if another person has commented this yet but manic depression is just another name for bipolar disorder. that being said, you need a mood stabilizer. what makes manic depression different from just a person with depression is that you're getting the highest of highs and not just the lowest of lows. so in order for you to avoid those lows (and crashes from the highs) you need to stay at a medium. which can be controlled with pills (of course) and (i bet you weren't expecting this) Lithium!

as for the people matter, you're talking to someone with social anxiety. so naturally, people scare me.

I believe that manic depression, just like any other disorder or disease can be treated naturally. I have found that taking Omega 3 Oils helps, along with eating healthy and eating three tablespoons of Organic Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil.

Researchers at Harvard Medical School have successfully used fish oil supplementation to treat bipolar disorder (manic-depressive illness) and British researchers report encouraging results in the treatment of schizophrenia.

Reading signs on-line or in a booklet does NOT give an explanation for how extreme they or how they paintings. Mania is so severe that almost all sufferers need to be hospitalised till steady on drugs. Depression episodes also are hospitalised for the way dangerous they're. I watched my dad undergo with it for the beyond five years. When he's depressed he does not depart mattress for weeks, he can cross days with out making use of the bathroom or consuming. If he does depart mattress its best to make use of the bathroom, he cries plenty while he's wide awake however he can sleep round 20 hours an afternoon! And quite often says he simply desires to die. This will cross on for round four months till he switches into complete blown mania. He will cross days with out slumbering after which while he does sleep its for round an hour. He talks consistently and does 1 matters directly, will get indignant particularly with ease and can not sit down nonetheless. Many instances he has long past into psychosis while he was once listening to voices and attempted to kill himself and my mum. His mania could cross on for months. He has been hospitalised like four instances. Bipolar may be very severe temper swings from melancholy into mania or hypomania relying which sort the man or woman has. Type a million involves melancholy and mania and sort two involves melancholy and hypomania. Type a million is so much extreme and men and women in complete blown mania or melancholy traditionally want hospitalisation. You can learn signs on the net however they don't inform you how extreme the temper swings or or how they're persented within the ailment. For illustration the temper swings final lengthy intervals of time. Usually 6 months depressed after which four months manic and the ordinary for a interval of say two months after which again to melancholy once more and it cycles. Everyone has an extra cycle as all people is one of a kind. Depression is while a man or woman has a continous low temper, they think hopeless, nugatory and unhappy at all times. They sleep excessivley, like sixteen-20 hours a night time, they cry plenty or can not cry in any respect, they'll think no feelings, they'll self damage or think suicidal, they've no vigour or motivation a few days to even depart mattress to make use of the bathroom, they'll beneath or over consume. Then in mania the man or woman can cross nights with none sleep in any respect or sleep lower than three hours a night time and think exceptional, they've such a lot vigour they consistently are relocating or doing some thing, no longer being ready to sit down nonetheless for even a minute, they spend all their cash, engagae in dicy behaviour like intercourse with strangers or alcohol and medications abuse, they speak so quick no person can maintain up with them and in a few circumstances men and women can becaome psychotic listening to and/or seeing matters that aren't their or being delusional and paranoid. Hypomania is in sort two bipolar, this is a lesser variant of complete blown mania. The signs aren't as severe as mania however nonetheless extreme sufficient to want remedy to manipulate. People in sort two by no means enjoy psychotic signs. It does not sound like bipolar ailment, it simply feels like he has anger problems.

This has happened to me many times in my life. As for me right now I'm going through an anger stage. What you are feeling about disliking people. Is just a reflection of what is going on in your life that you dislike or have lost control over. This is what I do. I think about other times this has happened to me. And make a great effort to remember that, though at times it's lasted weeks and months it has passed. I have gotton over it. And have felt better. I know that when one is going through this it's hard to see that tomorrow is another day. It is not what one wants to hear when one is feeling so down. One just wants to know how to make it stop. That I can't tell you because it's different depending on what is happening in ones life that is causing it. What is causing mine at the present time. Is that I feel very resentful towards my husband. To the point if I didn't depend on him financially. I wouldn't want to know anything about him. I even find myself wishing him wrong....What is in your power to control or change do it. You will feel better.
