This blizzard I did some heavy snow shoveling.. ya..
Well I got 3 blisters on my right foot that turned into, after researching them, corns!!!! I can barely walk barefoot, and I have to wear slippers around the house. It hurts to just move my foot.

What the bloody hell can I do about 'em? They're ugly and gross. Big tough spot of skin, like a hole with a wart in it.
So disgusting.

I didn't think 16 year olds got these...

Ok I so can't believe I'm going to confess this in public where people can read this and realize what a real nimrod I am....... but here goes.

Ok same kinda thing happened to me and I found out later it was cause my shoes were too tight. So first.... go buy some new shoes. lol

Secondly.... yeah...it was disgusting. So I thought...... ok do a little surgery and get rid of it. Soooooooooooo (and I do NOT recommend this) I took some toe nail clippers and freaking cut and cut and tried to dig the thing out. Ok.... who knew that cutting a chunk of skin out of your foot would cause so much blood. See...... I never really thought of cause and effect. *smacks head*

Several towels later........ as well bloody footprints all over the carpet...... I got it to stop. Stupid thing still kept growing back.
Seriously..... it's not a corn..... I think what you have is a plantar's wart. What I'd do is go to your local pharmacy...... tell them marianne sent you....... see if they'll give me a coupon for free shampoo since I sent ya...... and then find Dr. Scholl's plantar's wart pads. You have to kill the dang thing. And these medicated pads are your first attempt. They seriously do work. The thing will fall off (sans the blood) weeks later.

If they don't work.... then I would definitely go to your doctor. I've had friends who have had them surgically removed. Uhm.... by someone that knew what they were doing. Not with toe nail clippers. *wink*

Good luck!

Sounds like you may've had frostbite there. How long ago did this happen? If it doesn't clear up, see your doctor, podiatrist or go for a pedicure -those aren't just for women who want their nails polished! I don't think my mom has worn nail polish more than three times in her life but she regularly goes to have corns etc taken care of, they know a lot about those kind of things too and might be able to help just as well as a podiatrist.

You should go see a podiatrist he will be able to remove them and get your feet back to normal. Also check your local pharmacy. They may have over the counter stuff that will work as well. Good luck...

Blisters do not turn into corns. You most likely have some nasty callouses or warts. See your doc to find out which it is and treat them.

See a podiatrist. He'll 'fix' you.
