no.. anti anxiety.. But sometimes it is given to someone in alot of pain to help sedate them to allow medical procedures.

Here's an article that explains the use of diazepam. It's not used as a pain killer, per se. However, as the article explains, it is sometimes used to relieve muscle spasms which are a result of neurological disorders.
