i have a friend who has white fingernails.
what i mean is insted of his fingernails being pink, there white.

what causes that to happen?

how could i help my friend out with this problem?

is it to do with poor circulation?

referring to my previous question about toileting, I wondered if y'all'd have any interesting toileting experiences?

my most interesting toileting experience was in kenya most toilets there are just a hole in the ground usually surrounded by a cubicle.

on this particular occasion i'd just done my business & come out before the biggest spider looking thing came out it was white all over, it looked like a walking octopus with its head on top, of a scrotum like underbelly, all white and between the head and that scrotum sprouted legs. there were about 8 of us who witnessed it. needless to say we all ran a very long way away, then called adults who killed it and then pronounced it as ''just harmless''

saying that, my dad went to the bog once in a similar toilet only to smell a very large snake in the inside roof of the cubicle. if he'd have looked up and not backed up slowly i would have never been born he says.

Since this summer my digestive system has been crazy; sometimes I get diharea, sometimes my stomach hurts, I radomly get nautious... It will get better and then worse. I often feel kind of a bubbling in my stomach when things are getting worse and I think it might have something to do with acid. I have tried to find a common denominator, but I can't. I used to think it had to do with dairy, but it doesn't seem to. I've been under alot of stress that might have something to do with it. I am worried because in a week I am going to the Middle East on a study abroad and I don't want to get my system really, really messed up. What might I have?

I have glasses for the blackborad. I then had a cough and a bit of a temperture and i was on four steorids a day for 5 days. Now in the last three days i feel my vision in my eyes have gone down. Is it a side effect of the steorids that will go away? (i finished the steorids on Friday which was when they started giving me trouble) or will I just need glasses full time?

So i have my wedding in one week and last nite i slipped and fell outside (its icy) and hit my shoulder on my car bumper. It cut a two inch gash on my shoulder and gave me a huge bruise. Any suggestions on how to cover this up for my wedding? My dress is strapless. (seriously this IS my luck!!!)

I had a cold sore for about 10 days, its finally healed up, but i have probably the biggest date in my life tomorrow, and want to know if its true you can transfer the herpes virus even after it has healed? through saliva too? some websites say you can kiss when it has healed up, some say you can't, im sure oral sex is out of the question, has anyone transfered the virus after it has healed up? if i can't kiss on this date i will go crawl into a cave and never come out.

I am intrigued by this and would love to hear people's opinions on this. First---when you throw-up, do you cough, burp, or just make a hurling sound (as one person put it..."calling for ralph" "rrraaaallllph" lol..i loved that. I am a burper myself, and have noticed that burping is the rarest from of throwing up (at least from the mini survey I conducted) So, What kind of thrower-uper are you? and Why is it that people have different meathods of throwing-up?
