I am intrigued by this and would love to hear people's opinions on this. First---when you throw-up, do you cough, burp, or just make a hurling sound (as one person put it..."calling for ralph" "rrraaaallllph" lol..i loved that. I am a burper myself, and have noticed that burping is the rarest from of throwing up (at least from the mini survey I conducted) So, What kind of thrower-uper are you? and Why is it that people have different meathods of throwing-up? Thanks!
P.S. I hope this question deos not make you want to throw-up.

Different methods come from different body construction.
My mother is a burper. I'm a hiccuper, my daughter is a pure hurler. It just happens

I don't think of it as a burp because a burp is like an escape of air through the mouth, like a fart through the butt.
I think puking comes from deeper in the stomach with more solid matter rather than air.

when I puke its more of a mmuuuhhhhaaaaaaa sound. I have thrown up when burping too, thats called a vurp. I don't know why people throw up differently...

intense stimulation of the uvula will induce vomiting. burping over and over "squishes" for lack of a better word your stomach, but also sticking your finger in your throat, and tickling the uvula is the fastest way to vomit. after i get drunk i tickle my uvula to throw it all up barfmania!

throwin up is your bodys way of saying whatever is in your system is being rejected.
If your appendix bursted, u will constantly throw up anything u eat til u get to the hospital.
