It seems that when i get really really upset about something my nose bleeds alot and is uncontrollable? Have you ever heard of this?

Example of being upset: I visited my Best Friends grave and started to heavily cry

i used to get nosebleeds all the time. and we are talking heavy duty...i would wake up in the middle of the night with blood streaming out of my nose or be in the middle of an activity outside or even be in class. i talked about it to my doctor and he said that it could have been initially caused by a minor flesh wound inside my nose...strange, i know. i bought this gel (called "Ayr") upon the request of doc and applied it every night. eventually, the nosebleeds came less and less, and i have been nosebleed free for about a year and 1/2. it is true that though the inclination is to tilt your head back to prevent the blood from escaping, that is a huge no no. when you get a nosebleed, sit down, apply pressure (squeeze your nose together with a few tissues), and place your head between your legs until the bleeding stops. then remain inactive for a little bit after the fact because it may start again. you should talk to your doctor because he may be able to help you find a treatment...mine did. anyways, good luck!

It happens. I'm not sure why, but it does. If your nose bleeds for over a minute it could be a serious problem check with your doctor.

Rememeber not to tilt your head back when your nose bleeds because that blood will drain into your lungs and you will get pneumonia. If you push down firmly on the spot in the center above your lip/ below your nose that will slow the rush of blood.

Goodluck!

I dont know, but to stop a nose bleed, put your finger on your gum, like under your top lip, and press, until the bleeding stops.
