an excellent scare. i comprehend that's twisted yet after I had the hiccups and my roommate on the time took me by the hair and held up an excellent slicing knife close to to my face. All i visit claim is my hiccups ceased. yet another approach's that's functional and a lot less annoying is to slowly rub the tummy in a clockwise action. This many times works. Hiccups are a nerve project concerning the tummy.

get a Q-tip and tickle the upper roof of your mouth in that hollow spot. Some nerve ending there makes the hiccups quit. Unfortunately, sometimes they come back a few hours later.

This works for me every time. Take a sip of water, bend over and make sure your chin is touching your chest, then swallow the water ( 2 or 3 times), you have to make sure your chin is touching your chest, this closes the diaphragm and stops the hiccups. I hope it helps you!!

Some people hold there breath, others scare themselves, but the way that has always worked for me is to take a drink of water, but instead of "drinking" the water just let the water seep down your throat. You don't have to let all of it go down. It doesn't hurt, and it always works.
