Radon is a cancer-causing, radioactive gas.

You can't see radon. And you can't smell it or taste it. But it may be a problem in your home or your place of work.

Radon is estimated to cause many thousands of deaths each year. That's because when you breathe air containing radon, you can get lung cancer. In fact, the Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today. Only smoking causes more lung cancer deaths. If you smoke and your home has high radon levels, your risk of lung cancer is especially high.

Radon can be found all over the U.S.

Radon comes from the natural (radioactive) breakdown of uranium in soil, rock and water and gets into the air you breathe. Radon can be found all over the U.S. It can get into any type of building - homes, offices, and schools - and result in a high indoor radon level. But you and your family are most likely to get your greatest exposure at home, where you spend most of your time.

My hair is falling out more than is normal...for quite a long time now...but suddenly, in the past coulple of weeks, it got worse....It's kinda creeping me out...I had really thick blond hair...and I am worried about losing it. I use Garnier shampoo, because it is said to strenghten your hair, but I see no difference. I did not ever color my hair or anything...all natural...
Could my shampoo be making it worse? Should I try another one? Are there any vitamins I should take? I am 15 years old

My hair has been falling out a lot lately. I know this is because of malnutrition, so I was wondering which vitamins are essential for healthy hair. Are there any vitamins I could take to make my hair stronger and stop it from falling out so much? I am 15 years old.

Garnier Fructise is said to strenghten your hair...Is that really true? I started using it when my hair started falling out a lot. I do not see a difference. Do you think a shampoo could make hair fall out more? Are there any shampoos that can stop my hair falling out so much? I am 15 years old...and I have may hair natural...I don't color it or do anything that would damage it in any way.

My hair has been falling out quite more than I think is normal- because of malnutrition. While I work on that problem, are there any special shampoos or vitamins I can use to help stop it from falling out so much? I am 15 years old.

I sometimes confuse words. Say, I was writing something about puppies, but while I am writing I accidently mix the words around, blah, blah, blah. It is sometimes hard for me to read because the letters look strange, like they are moving. But they do not juggle around. I also misread some words and replace the word for something else. Say, the word was.... art... but I read it as...ark or aren't. It happens a lot and I am always messing up my writing. Do not get me wrong, I am a great writer... but I sometimes confuse myself...

Oh, and it runs in my family.

I have IBS, and lately it's been flipping out. I'm not stressed about anything, and I haven't been eating any weird foods. I'm nauseous, and my stomach hurts. I know its becuase of IBS, and not the flu or anything, because I've had it for so long. How do I make IBS go away? If it won't go away, how do I make it so I don't feel so yucky all the time?

I'm considering laser eye surgery but confused about all the options out there. I've been to a consultation, but I always get scared and back out when I see the possible complications.

I am short sighted (-3.00) and usually wear accuvue contact lenses or, for the computer, some glasses.

My question is: Optical Express, Optimax or Accuvision?
Lasik, Lasek or Wavefront?
I want value for money, but more important is for it to work the first time, to last and for it to be as pain free as possible.

Has anyone had laser eye surgery here? Any advice most appreciated!
