I had to drink a lemon juice slushy (no sugar) for home coming, I have a really sore tounge and i need to know how to get ride of it. It was about 16 oz. give or take and we had to drink it quickly. ANy ideas on how to make my tounge/lips stop hurting??? I've tried tylenol and I tried baking soda on my tounge, didn't work.

at the vets waiting talking to this guy he said he had, had a heart replacement. He had some other persons heart beating in his chest. Being knosey I had to ask"anything interesting other than new found health" He said yeah. 1. after a life of sleeping in, he is now an early riser who enjoys sunrises, an gardening in the morning hours. My thought was yeah appreciating every minute after nearly dying. More? yeah he felt he really wanted to wear a gold chain round his neck. Previously not even a watch or ring,,, interesting thinks me,,, then he says he met the donors family and the donor was an early bird gardener who loved a gold necklace simlar to the one he now wore he added he had breakfast and cofee just befor dawn,, b4 he had not liked cofee, donor did these brkfst-cofe everyday of his life.

this is not a way out there story but CAUSE TO PAUSE not interested in skeptical smartas answers

i have sat with my legs crossed probably starting when i was ten now i am thirty five. i cross them every time i sit down, eventually after a long priod of crossing my top leg gets numb. i have heard that crossing your legs can cause vein problems, i dont have any at all, but is this true that it is bad? do you cross your legs also?

Today I received some birthcontrol from my doctor called trivora. I've never used birthcontrol before but wanted to give it a try since I'm engaged and don't want a baby since I'm working on becoming a nurse. I should be starting my period in the next 3-5 days. I was wondering when do I take my pills? The doctor had told me something like, "go ahead and take them this sunday" and i told her, "even if i start my period?" and she said yes. But the part that confuses me is she told me if I start my period later, like next week, to wait till the FOLLOWING sunday. On the instructions, it says to take the sunday AFTER your period. I'm just confused now. I wanted to call and ask but the clinic is closed. My friend that's on birthcontrol told me to take it this sunday. I have the 28 pill pack. Also, is there a time where you don't take the pills. I mean, let's say I've been on the pill and then I start, am I supposed to still take them when I'm on my period or not. Sorry, I'm just confused.

Hey, i always put on deodorant after i shower or after P.E. However i still seem so sweat in my pits no matter what deodorant i use. Its emabrrasing and im hoping someone can let me know if they have a solution. It leaves big wet sports on my shirts and i have to keep my sweatshirt on. So please help.

Whenever I think too hard (like taking a test) and even just at random times, and I feel something weird flowing through my head. Could it be blood? It goes away whenever I touch my head, but it comes back right away

This was a problem since Christmas 2005...when I smoked 2 blunts and got high...


PS. I don't smoke anymore. Last time I smoked was 3 months ago.

I've been inviting my gal pal of 2 1/2 yrs over for a night over when the weekend comes along. Her coming over is fine, but whenever I clean around my place before a new week starts, I find strands of twirled up hair around the living room (specifics: underneath the couch or under a pillow). It's not the hair strands you loose here and there, but she twirls her hair around with her fingers, somehow her hair gets wrapped up stuck and occassionally I hear this "tearing" noises. Why does she do that? and is this some kind of disorder? If so, what can I do to help my friend out cause to me, I feel that it's bad tearing your hair out like the way she does. It's not natural or normal. Has anyone else been in this situation? Please help!!
