Hello Sora, As a suffer of throat to small intestine ulcers and gastric reflux, you sound like me. Some painkillers will actually make the problem worse, especially those that are aspirin based. Go and see your doctor. You may require a gastroscopy, where you are slightly sedated and a camera is passed down your throat to check for ulcers and any other abnormality. What you are describing needs professional attention. Your body deserves this attention. Getting answers to cure you pain and worries means you will feel a whole lot better and get well at the same time. I wish you well. :))

My brother was rushed to the hospital 3 years ago because they thought he was having a heart attack. after all the test came back it was diagnosed as a severe case of acid reflux. His esophagus was so irritated and inflamed that it was pushing hard on the heart muscles.

Yes it does, which is why people having a heart attack sometimes delay treatment, telling themselves "it's only acid reflux". If it really is reflux, it will quickly respond to an antacid. If it doesn't respond, or continues to get worse, you should seek medical attention immediately.

Yea, once my mother called 911 for herself thinking it was a heart attack. It turned out to be acid reflux and inflammation of the esophagus.
