My sister uses a product called Renu for her contact lenses. I have contacts but I don't need them very much and I only use them when I
have to sit in the back of the classroom in school. I use the same solution product. Yesterday my sister's friend was telling us that it was on the news and that the product has made some people blind and/or get a disease in their eye. Before we go to the eyedoctor I need to know this incase I need my contacts. Is this a myth or fact?

She's 18 months old, about 25lbs, and has a fever and a cough. She refuses to take liquid medicine, so I give her little dissolving baby tylenol tabs for her fever. But I cant get her to take robitussin for her cough. We have even tried holding her down and forcing the medicine in but she just coughs or chokes and it comes flying back out. Any pointers on how to help relieve her fever and/or cough? At what temperature should I become concerned and take her in? I have one of those ear thermomreters but it doesnt seem very accurate. Shes had it for a couple days, and is still feeling good enough to fun around and be onery, so I'm not too worried, but still concerned it may get worse. Thanks for any advice! :)

I am a 27 y/o female. I went to an Ear Nose Throat doctor today who said I didn't have tonsils. I have never had them removed. I have tried searching the internet, and have found nothing about people without tonsils.

At night {After 9:00 PM} there's usually this horrible strong smell from outside {I notice because the window next to my computer desk is usually open.} It smells kind of like between skunk and burning rubber and plastic. What do you think it is? The smell is only around at night. Once I let my cat out and it stayed outside until morning. The next morning, it smelled like the smell I'm describing.

Would it matter if you locked only one leg? I think it has something to do with your capillaries, but I could be wrong.

Hiya, Just a quick question, does going through puberty make you worry about your health? Its like, whenever I hear something, it triggers something inside me, and I just begin to panic. Like, I feel a slight pain on the left (my left) and I panic. Help...like some soothing music or something?

im in a bit of a jam i just quite using drugs im two weeks clean now but im driving my self crazy with all my antxity and not being able to sleep at nights and feeling very depressed and crying all the time need therpy but cant afford it not have a job because of everything going on my fingers are num cant feel the ends of my fingers any way i have tryed rehab that does not work ive got emotinal proublems not drug proublem i use drug to help with emotional proublem and seens i quite useing i cant stop thinking and how depressed i am is their a therpist i can go to for free if i really need it

My stepfather occasionally has severe back problems. He was taken in an ambulance once and was given high doses of pain killers and muscle relaxers that did little to help him.

Today he threw out his back. About an hour ago or so he took 2 muscle relaxers (oxycoton I think) AND 2 tylenol pm. Usually he only takes one of either. Now he is slurring his words slightly and I am somewhat worried. My boyfriend thinks he overdosed (he's a firefighter trained in EMS). He went to lay in his bed with an ice pack.

Is this an overdose? We are keeping an eye on him (my mom went grocery shopping). But what else can we do? What can result from this. Is it okay if he falls asleep? How will know if he's okay?

All of my life my right nostril gets stuffed up. It clears sometimes but always ends stuffed up again, and only the right side. I don't have allergies, why is this?

I've been awake for 25 1/2 hours now and I'm not even tired (the result of too much caffiene).

I've stayed awake for 36+ hours many times before, my record is 46 hours, and I never hallucinated because of it.

How long does someone need to stay awake before they start hallucinating or is that just an urban legend to get kids to go to bed?

i have a cyst about the size of an eyeball. it is inches away from my spine. somedays it is very sensative and feels inflamed, and on other days the pain is very minimal. when i feel for it sometimes i can move it around and sometimes i cant. do i need to remove it? and can it be cancerous? i had my doc feel it but he said nothing...what good is he?
