I know my best friend has a cocaine problem. I DO NOT like the fact that she does it. She is in complete denial. She thinks I don't know when she's on it, unless she actually admits it once and a while. (I'm not stupid, I can always tell when she's coked up.) Unfortunately she is a habitual liar to her husband and family. However I know there is no other person in this world that she trusts other than myself (Believe me, I know things no one else would or could ever know, we are like sisters) She has 2 small children at home and an unsupportive husband who knows about the addiction but is going about "trying to help her" the wrong way. I'm worried that she's gotten to far into the stuff. I want her to get help but I don't know how to get her help. What can you do when a person is over the age of 18 and you can't force them to rehab? She won't go willingly because she doesn't think she has a problem. She cries wolf a lot about suicide, but I'm really scared this time! Please Help!!!!!

i used to be able to drink a bottle of wine in an evening, and be fine the next day....now when i do i am badly hung over and my back, around my kidneys really aches.....is this a symptom of another problem???

about a week ago my tongue or throat (cant figure out which one it is) stated hurting whenever i would try to swallow or anything... after it started hurting i looked at my tongue and its yellow and hairy lookin... in certain spots i can rub the hairy lookin stuff off of my tongue (fi that makes any sense)... does anyone know what this could be... i do smoke and have for like 5 years....so i dont know if that has much to do with it.... thanks for your help....

Every summer it's the same;; I get practically eaten alive by mosquitoes; I've tried just about every bug repellent but I'm always bitten! My feet && calves are extremely bad right now and nothing I try to stop the itching is working!

History: New co-worker shows up in the fall exuding this awful odor. We have 11 people in the entire building; he and I share an office. I have a sensitive nose so only I am affected. I speak to him a few months after his arrival. I professionally explain to him that his Met-Rx drinks make him smell. He stops drinking them and the smell goes away. I am happy.
Problem: Summer hits and he's started up again. This time I am pregnant and my nose is super-sensitive. He's trying to cover it with wearing a lot of cologne. So now he smells like a Philly cheese steak sandwich left in the car all day with a broken bottle of Reaction. If a professional talk 7 months ago didn't fix it, what will now?

And no, I'm not a kid who's just started smoking and yes I do realize that smoking's unhealthy. I'm asking this because I've seen a lot of questions from parents who want their kids to stop smoking -- a couple of questions that come to mind refer to a 9 and a 12 year old.

I think that when a kid's relatively grown up and independent they should be allowed to make their own decision about smoking. Probably somewhere around 16 -18. The age when kids are already old enough to drive and work and (in many peoples opinion) to have sex. I know it's a bad habit, I'm just wondering if theres an age when someones decision to smoke should be respected.
