you probably have acid reflux disease. it is a gastrointestinal problem but it also irritates the esophagus, and when you get it even water is bothersome. i suggest that you see a doctor before it gets worse.

If you're drinking purified water maybe it's something in the purification process that you could be allergic to. It could be that something else you're drinking or eating is causing your throat and stomach to be raw and the only time you notice it is when you're drinking something that is not masking your throat and stomach.... No matter what it is it's not something that can be penpointed with a small ammount of information because of the rarity of the "condition". The obvious answer is acid reflux.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, and good luck.

There's a few things that could be. It could be some sort of acid reflux, it could be dehydration or it could be some kind of chest flu.
Whatever it is, don't stop drinking water.

My husband had that too. He would drink water and get heartburn. He ended up having surgery.

Ya dude, you know what you really need to do? You need to hold back on the pushups, and maybe start to work on those brain muscles a bit.... that will probably help your writing out a bit..

Acid reflux, no doubt about it.
GERD
They have drugs called "proton pump inhibitors" (PPIs) now that work very well.
