I know a lot of drugs cause problems with the liver. Is cipralex one of these? Or is it fairly safe to take over long periods?

My doctor said that it was not a big problem with that, but I have been eating more lately and gaining some of the weight back that I was so proud of losing. :) Maybe it is just the holidays, but it seems like this medicine may be the culprit. Not sure though. If you take it or if you know of someone, please tell me if this is a problem.

Son was on strattera for ADHD, Impulsivity, ODD. In June, Doctor increased it to 18mg. Was on the increase for 4 days then rushed him to hospital cuz his heart was beating fast. Now his new neurologist wants him on 18mg. Should I give it to him? Will his heart beat fast again? He is also on Reisperdal 0.5mg. But he TRULY needs somthing cuz he is so hyper, charged all the time, can't sit still, or stop talking. This behavior is also effecting parents when he goes to friends houses and I don't want him to loose his new friends at our new house. Please, any suggestions? Thanks

I need to reduce my Lovan/Prozac. I am on 20mg per day, I need to go to nothing.

I am also taking Epilim 300mg per day, but I need to stay on these to stablise my mood.

How do I reduce the lovan/prozac safely?

What side effects can I expect from doing this?

Note: I have talked to my psycoligist, and we have decided this is the best thing to do for my health regarding the reaction to the meds I am having.

My boyfriend of 3 years has got friendly with the landlord in our local pub, he is a fat spotty midget with a son who's a policeman but my boyfriend is fit. We moved here to get away from trouble cos my boyfriend was a handful and always in fights. The landlord keeps him there giving him drinks and winding him up, it's a dead end village pub in Wales with half a dozen customers all male chauvinists, prehistoric thinking and they don't like women in there. I collect him but I'm beginning to feel that they are taking the piss out me too. He often starts a fight when he comes home but only when he's been there. The landlord has said a couple of really rude things to me but my boyfriend said he didn't hear them and that I'm being stupid. I don't want us to split up because of a horrible alcoholic man...it sounds stupid but my Dad died about 6 weeks ago and I'm feeling so very low...if only Dad was here he would go and punch all of their lights out

I have had many past competitions where I have experienced physical pain from my body and it caused me to mess up my steps really bad because I could not concentrate after the pain would begin to start. I find myself not sleeping at night thinking about my past performances and my many mistakes in competition. I am anxious, because I realize I failed because of inuries and cannot stop thinking about what happened to me so many times. I keep qualifying for worlds, but this emotional tension of failure for not doing my best is really getting to me. What should I do?

My husband have had problems controlling his anger, even physically. It got so bad that I opted for a divorce. Even time he goes extremely overboard when we have disagreements, after everything blows over he says that he is sorry. I finally got him to go to the Mental Health center and the therapist thinks he has Borderline personality, Assessive Compulisve, and acute Bipolar. She says he occured the disorder as a child and it went untreated and that is why he acts so beligerent when he becomes angry or jealous. It's hard for me to cope with him at times and stresses me out. What are some articles I can read to better educate me on these problems. If he gets worse, do you think I am being selfish and wrong for wanting to get a legal seperation? It has really brought me down and I don't know what else to do besides pray. Any advice.
