U should go to their website, almost all libraries have their own sites now and type ur library id no down, it will show what u have borrowed and what u have and have not returned. if that doesent work, speak to a library worker and tell them u were going to return the books but the library was still renovating at the time.

No. When it reopens, ask them if you have any books out and they will tell you. Any late fee should be pretty small and if you lost the book, you might just have to replace it (shouldn't be that expensive) I took a book out about 7-8 years ago, lost it and never went back. No one ever contacted me. I'll deal with it someday but I'm not really worried about it. Talk to them in a week. It's going to be fine and it's totally normal to have an overdue book once and awhile. In your case, any late fee is not going to be high at all!

Even if it were closed there should be a "book return" slot at the front door. If not you can talk things out when the library re-opens. Knowledge is power. Read on my brotha.

Not at all. When the library reopens, just call them or go there, and tell them about your concerns. They will work with you on any overdue books. After all, you cannot return something when they are closed!!

No. Don't worry about it, search your house at your leisure. Then if you can-supposing you do find one-return it! I'm sure they still have the drop box somewhere (or at least a temporary one). Another thought is, because a library is city property, call the city and ask... hope that helps....long deep breaths! :)

No. Fines aren't real high, even if you did not return some. Check with the library as soon as you can.

I don't think you should be worried. If the library is closed for a week they won't charge late fees for books due during that week.
no worries

Call the main library or another branch and let them know. They will tell you what to do in this case.

Sweetie don't worry about it. I'm sure they are going to have a grace period because of the renovations. besides they will make an exception for their "best customer" Don't let the little things in life upset you...
