I'm Obsessive-compulsive and I have recently had the craving to do several things: buy an alto-c ocarina based on legend of Zelda games; eating two english muffins once a week on sundays at midnight; Cooking more; window shopping for tires. is there a connection between all this?

hi,these days I've been so lazy, I want to know where the problems are coming from, my outcome is almost zero.
these days worst things happened in my life, I have been dumped form the whom I loved the best,
I feel restless all the day, stay awake untill late night just crawling on the net for nothing, and stay sleep too much,
i am a university student , and I must study,
i am motivated( as I think) but I just don't do anything, maybe depressed
btw is medical treatment good so i visit a psychotherapist soon?
I really want to solve this on my own

Sometimes I ask people something and get an answer. Then maybe a few minutes later I'll ask them again and suddenly remember in mid-question that I already asked them that question and got an answer. Is that short term memory loss or normal forgetfullness?

I've asked this question before but I think it was misinterpreted. People were telling me I had bed bugs, but that's not the kind of scratch I mean. While I'm sleeping I somehow scratch myself pretty bad. It's always on my face, and they are always kinda deep scratches. It's not that I itch when I'm sleeping but I scratch my face and leave marks. At the moment I have three scratches on my face. This has happened all my life but recently it has gotten worse. Again, I don't mean I itch all night, but that I actually leave marks on my face that are scratches.

i'm 20 in college and whoever said these are the best years of my life can go get a blow*** from a pirannah. I have no real friends, i'm awkward in conversation. I constantly avoid socializing (something in my subconcious just won't let me). Never EVER even aked a girl out or been on a date. I've never called ANYone just to talk. Often times, like right now I get really sad when i think about my life and wish i'd wake up an be normal like the 95% of people who have friends, go out, maybe even get married. I'm afraid that I'll grow old and die alone because I honestly don't see why any girl would choose to be with me.
*Sigh........

Hi. I really need some serious advice. I have never told anyone about this but, when I was 10, I am 18 now, my father molested me, and he is abusive to me and my Mother. And I keep having these recurring nightmares that he comes into my room and beats me to death, I usually wake up having panic attacks. My b/f has said he will get me a place to live but his mother really doesn't like me and he can't do anything without her permission. I have a few thousand dollars in savings. Should I get my own place?

I just recently weaned off of Effexor XR, & this is actually just my second day without it at all. I have no problems except for the 'brain impulses' is the best way I know how to describe it. It's like Vertigo I guess. It is horrible, I hate it. I feel like my head is floating. Is there anyone who has experienced this & if you have, how long can I expect this to last & what did you do to help you through this? Only serious answers please!
