I am trying to find a location in the douglasville area.I would prefer to work with mentally challenged adults.I truly enjoy this type of work.

Well I have no Idea where douglasville is, but you can look things up on Craigslist.com or othervarious web sites. Try looking under Social Services and Nursing...I promise you will find an assisted living place in no time.

I use to work for the Norristown State Hospital. Go to building 48 on the grounds of the hospital and fill out a application.( I don't know how far Douglasville is from Norristown,PA) Also, try Montogmery County Emergency Services building 50 on the grounds of the state hospital as well or go on hotjobs.com they have jobs look under mental heatlh. Oh yeah the county office should be able as well.

If you were the relative of a mentally challenged adult and needed to find services for them who would you call? Make a list and call each one to set up an employment interview. It is a very rewarding job but not one for just anybody.

Go to your local county job office and make an application with the state/county. People like you are hard to find.
