Hi,

Just to let you know a lot of people feel the same way, but try and relax and take a few deep breaths and tell yourself that you can do it.
I was shy when i was a child but working in a hospital has made me more out going.
A great book to read is Feel the fear and do it any way:- By Susan Jeffers.
You can get it in any good book shop or library.

It maybe just the feeling of being nervous when in front of people. Some people have differnt reactions to this. For me I tend get red faced and my plams will sweat. If you think that it may be something more serious then you may want to contact your doctor. He maybe able to give you some tips or maybe prescribe you something to calm your nerves. Good Luck

I do the same thing , what I do to stop is just take about 11 deep breaths and picture the ocean , or something that relaxes you , of press down on the point between your thumb and index finget, thats a trick a acupuncturist taught me , it immedietly sends triggers of endocrine to your brain to calm you , GOOD LUCK

This sounds like performance anxiety. If it's something that only happens once in a while, then it might be worth asking your GP about Propanolol,a beta-blocker,which can reduce some of the physical symptoms of anxiety.

Hi,

You may try clonazepam or primidone, or propranolol. You may need to see psychist if this caused by psychological circumstance. You may find some TENS machine quite helpful, check with GP for this. Best wishes!

Try EFT or Acupuncture. EFT doesn't involve needles and is very simple. See www.emofree.com for information. You could probably find a practitioner in your area. Acupuncture is more widely available these days.

It is probably just rooted in some sort of phobia. You must make an attempt in overcoming your fears.
