I am 31 yrs old , female. I have been prescribed RISDONE and NEXITO for 8 weeks by my doctor ( a psychriatist). He has also prescribed an EEG test and has asked me to report after 4 weeks. I am feeling extremely different after I have started to take the medicines. He is not telling me what is my exact problem. can anyone help?

Nexito is the brand name of a medicine called escitalopram. It is used by psychiatrists in the treatment of major depression and panic disorders. It has a large number of side effects including sexual dysfunction, ejaculation (of semen) disorders, suicidal tendency, tendency to agitation, depersonalisation just to mention a few. Its usual dose is 10 mg.

Risperidone is a short term 6-8 week treatment of schizophrenia.
Nexito is for major depression and anxiety disorders.
