Lately it feels like I am worrying about the most stupid things imaginable. Then when i get the answer I want or am looking for when it comes to those things I've been worrying about, I worry some more. Is there something wrong with me? Any suggestions on how to relieve some of this anxiety?

My friend has been on Zoloft and she had to go back to the doctor because she was having sexual side effects. Her doctor perscribed her Wellbutrin to take along with the Zoloft....she seems a bit out of sorts and emotional...is it good to mix these two anti-depressants? I didn't think you could...but I'm not sure. Please help.

I've been having suicidal thoughts and I might act on these thoughts, what should I do and how can someone help me? I've been in and out of hospitals because of these thoughts but I don't want to be hospitalized again. I need serious help. I figure I don't have nothing to lose and that noone cares about me. I have some issues.

My grief counselor told me of a survey done on men and women. The question asked"How long do you think it takes for a person to grieve the loss of their child(miscarriage, newborn or any other age). The average answer was 2 1/2 days. This is such bull. I cant even imagine how some people believe this. I hardly even accepted it happened until a few months later.

I'm tired all the time, and just in a bland mood, I told the Dr about it last week and he said he doesn't want to increase my med's may send me into a manic phase, and to take my Xanax and ride it out, since I'm going through some tough family issues with aging parent and Diabetic son, alot of time on my hands during the day, etc.
Should I call him back? Will these symptoms subside on their own?

The anxiety is due to a specific event and I want to know if Xanax can be taken just for these few days only 0.5mg and then just stopped. I am thinking it is safe because it wouldn't have time to build up a dependency therefore no withdrawal symptoms. Anybody taken it like this?

With everything that's going on in the world today, how do YOU cope with the madness? In addition to all the madness in the world, you pile on the problems in life and it's a wonder the entire planet has any sanity left.

The other night a lady asked a question on Yahoo Answers and she said that she intended on commiting suicide. I gave the best answer I could but I don't know what has become of her. So I am just wondering if something happens like this again I could be better prepared in answering if someone truly needed my help.

Hi, I had a psychotic episode last year triggered by an intensive meditation course. I had hallunications, delusions (believed I was the new messiah, telepathy, etc etc), almost committed suicide, and it completely freaked me out.

It lasted a week. I have been recovering since. I've been through a severe depression this year and have been trying to build myself and my life back together.

Now I'm getting much better - I've been back at work for five months, I am on medication, and am seeing a psychiatrist and counsellor.

The current problem is that I don't feel my emotions. It's really horrible, like I'm half alive. I don't feel happy, unhappy, sad, afraid, joyful, excited - just nothing. Or very rarely. I think it's a protective mechanism - like I'm still in shock.

However, I'm in a safe environment now and I'd like to aid the recovery process, so the question is: how do I get back in touch with my emotions?

What type of doctor should I see if I suffer from low self esteem, lack of confidence and depression? It would be my first time going and will it be multiple sessions or can it be treated in a one time visit? How many of you suffered from any of these and how is the success rate? How long did it take? Thanks guys.
