I take each day ONE at a time. I always do things that I think If i didnt do I would regret. and I realize that even tho there is all this madness in the world, I do not have to add to it. But It is each of our responsibilities as citizens of this planet to make it better. So I never litter, Im healthy so I park far away in parking lots, I open doors for others, I always say please and thank you and I smile as often as possible. A smile goes a long way. Good luck to you!

I take a tablet from the doctor that keeps me sane, or at least keeps me on track. I try to ignore the annoying people that I can't do anything about and swear under my breath a lot at people that don't mean anything to me. I take a deep breath and pray for a better day tomorrow and I save up so that one day I can afford a little place that I can call my own so that I can shut out all the world's madness and just live with my own.

I know what my sphere of influence is. I know that even if I could talk to Bush or his other old men, they wouldn't listen anyway.

I take care of me and mine - or try too... and I don't watch the news... it's just geared to keep you scared anyway.

I have a firm faith that this is just the same cycle humans have always had. If Medieval Studies has taught me anything, it's that there are always rich stupid people in charge. They might be good they might be evil... but they are always changing.

Count your blessings and try not to focus on things that you can't change. Do things to make things better in your sphere of influence... and develop a good bit of denial about those things that you can't influence.

I have a faith in a Higher Power and that helps... you are not in control of the whole world... let it go...

I hope that helps!

I cope with it knowing that it's all a bunch of crap. In the long run things will be 10times worse than they are now, but I don't worry about the future when there are more important things going on NOW. One person can't stop the government...though I would love to try.

Sometimes I just take a break from the news for a week because it can be so overwhelming and hopeless.

I volunteer helping an autistic boy. It gives me a lot of meaning in my life to just make small strides with this boy. Even if the planet is going to hell, I can make a difference in this life and find meaning in it.

Like Gandhi said "Whatever you do will be unimportant. But it is very important that you do it."

Keep God in focus, and we will live a mentally healthy life.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicide attempt.)

well, the way i deal with everything is that i tell myself that i must dedicate my life to doing good things. If i am confident that i will be ok and that i will do my part in helping out the world, then i feel better even if everything else i just wrong.
