The subject in question is a 40 yr. old gay male. He has had significant lose in his adult years, death, repressed memories of childhood sexual abuse, drug addiction and bi-polar disorder.

Every night I go through this...my dad works late in manhatten and comes home with a train like at around 12 till 1 am...well I always get worried becuase it's so late....and I get panic attacks...:-( is it normal to feel this way? when he comes home I get calmed...right now I'm depressed because he's not home yet..

Why have I come home everyday for the past week and done nothing but sit around on the computer...for at least five hours at a time? Does anyone else have this occasional problem? It's not chornic, but it really bugs me when I do this. I get nothing done.
I'll eventually wear myself out and go do something life-like, but there's no telling when that will happen? I need more suggestions than just a simple "GET OFF AND SHUT THE COMPUTER DOWN" because I'll just go back to it within the hour. Do I have obsessive-compulsive disorder with my computer?

well...every single day I always am paranoid about the way I look...I put on my concealer to cover up my dark circles or blemishes...and everything seems fine...when I get to school as I look in the mirror I always am terrified with the way I look...DARK circles...thin dull hair...and it just makes me anxious and paranoid...also EVERY NIGHT, I get panic attacks because my dad works in manhatten and he takes the train home and comes home at 1 am...sometimes 12...well I get very scared and worried if he's not home at a certain time..what do i do? Also another thing...I'm scared about death...everything about it...me dying...and people you love....what's wrong with me...why do i worry so much

I haven't been diagnosed with it, but i identify very strongly with the characteristics/traits of Borderline Personality. It doesn't affect my life as such..well obviously it does, but not to a full blown extent. I still manage to get by. I want to talk to a psychiatrist about it but am worried about the cost. I am currently studying and working parttime so I am basically living from paychecks to paychecks. Just want to know if anyone is in a similar situation? Or any advice?

We live in a rural area on a dirt road. It is not a county maintained road and therefore not subject to the same care and laws. Sounds weird but, that is what the police told us since it is private. There are some oldrer boys (young teens up to early twenties) that terrrorize the neighborhood. They'll drive very fast and spit dirt/stones, speed up and down the road, and if you say anything to them you will pay! Today they spent the afternoon mud bogging on the road where it was quite wet from recent rains. The road is all torn up and the man everyone pitches in to pay for roadwork just graded it last weekend. The tire ruts are very deep and it is quite rugged. It would seem that the law is on their side. Who helps/protects the innocent?

I aint going to the military- atleast not now(i cant God, or a force if you may say is not letting me), and i just want to find some way that i can get a person to mentally, physically, emmotionally train me for 30 consecutive days and just mistreat me and the little by little bring me up..... i mean - im so sick of seeing my self as a little boy which im not im 19 im like a man right.... i want to be firm to be strong- to have like a rough build and tough heart - iv been deprived some how of bieng more of a man....
