I suggest therapy. It helped me tremendously. You learn a lot about yourself when you can talk to someone who is objective and is there just to help you.

Social Anxiety Disorder is usually treatable but it is usually with the help of medication. You could try to see a Therapist first for some counseling but if that doesn't work you may want to see a Psychiatrist to get on some meds to help you out with it. My nephew has social anxiety disorder and has just been put on medication to treat it. If you take the medication to treat it you should start feeling better in a while.

i suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder and it destroyed my life relationships ect. iam forty years old and are only now starting to enjoy my life. what helped me was having public exposure and being around caring understanding people. whom understand we as humans all have weaknesses and except them as part of our makeup. going a church really helped this but beware there are a lot of ones out there that can damage you also. so you have to use good common sense and be on guard at all times. iam even married now and have a good christian wife whom understands my weaknesses and we have a more honest truthful relationship which has made it deeper and stronger.so remain truthful to your self and others because truth will surely set you free. and dont let the world put it over you cause you are different because if they do this they are enemies to you and even god and aint atrue friend. just because a majority think a certain way doesnt mean it is right. and havent people worked out yet that god in his design has made those whom are weak and suffering more gifted and intelligent to fool the wisdom of the so called wise.because suffering makes you even more intelligent.

There are endless amounts of tricks but the easiest to start with is to walk slowly and with intent anywhere you are going. Also, when you talk to people or are being spoken to always, always look the person right in the eye. It gives you something to focus on and you really look like you are listening which is what most people are needing anyway.

I would say, get medical help. But first, get your body in balance. Eat right and make up for what you're missing with supplements. It will reduce your symptoms, maybe to the point where behavior modification may be all you need. If it doesn't, seek professional help.
