This is common but young people shouldn't be losing their memory like that. It is most definitely because of the diet of food that you are eating. You may not be getting the nutrients that you need. For example, you need a certain amount of omega 3 fats to help improve your memory and you can get that by eating tuna fish at least once a week. I wish I could give you all the info. but I can't remember all of it.

Try going to http://www.seventeen.com and checking out their health section. If you're a guy it's okay, there's still a lot of info you can get from there. If you have any questions or want all the info, feel free to email me and I can help you find what you need. Good luck!

People with ADHD and stress have that. At your age STRESS!

Talk to your parents before you take anything.

A supplement called "Focus Factor" and it's generic copies has the best of the mental supplements all in one bottle. I got my generic at Costco, it wasn't $60 a bottle, probably $18. Ginkgo is cheaper and readily available but not as good.

Studies show that a balanced diet greatly improves mental performance. So when your friends aren't looking, eat the things that you miss out on. That way you don't get made fun of but you eat what you need. Vitamins help fill in the gaps but don't have everything.

Tricks to avoid stress (hard to avoid, but give it a try):Try to avoid the drama that is so prevalent in High School. Also, about this time you should be catching on that if you do as your parents say they will get off your back. It took a while before I could get things done before they could remember to reminded me, but by 16 1/2 they finally caught on and we got along rather well.

Spend time to remember while knowing it the first time, and tell yourself, "I have got to remember this, so I will take time to put it in memory library carefully, catalogue it properly, and remember the 'key' word for quick reference "
