Today when i got off the bus my left knee started to hurt really bad but my right knee was perfectly ok. At one point the pain was so bad i could hardly walk. It lasted 5-10 minutes and it went away but hurt when i went up steps. I could walk with no problem but the pain was so bad i could hardly continue. Now it seems to have come back but not as bad. I had wondered whether it was a nerve getting squeezed by something. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm 18 in case that helps.
thanks

Recently I've started to feel a strange pain in the bottom of my foot. Every now and then it feels like there's a thorn in my foot, when there isn't, in which case it hurts to walk on that foot. Most of the time, however, when I walk it feels sore, and as if there's a rubber band on the bottom of my foot and it hurts a bit to walk. It's not an excruciating pain, but it's a strange feeling...I run a lot (after school, track, cross country...), in case that might help... Does anyone know what it could be?

thanks!

For 2 months didn't get period. Doctor prescribed Provera and I've had heavy blood clots, cramping, weakness and fatigue 3 days in bed before my period, and 3 days with the period. Now, my period is finished and it feels like something is grinding against my ovaries and I have pelvic pain.
NOTE: I've had 2 surgeries for polyp removal in the past.
I also want to get a hysterectomy at 40 (in one year) as this debilitating periods have happened to me in the past and I can't handle it and can't work, and suffer mentally and emotionally.

You know that my chronic pain prevents me from sleeping or doing anything for long peroids. However, my helper and I found a couple of things that have made a big difference. She found this thick-thick memory foam pad for the bed and a mattress cover came with it. The cost on sale was $100. I found a gel body pillow on sale for $50.00 and these two things together have helped extremely. We are always searching to help one another on this site, just thought you could use this information. Did you want to hear things found to help sleep and do you have suggestions to help us with our chronic pain?

I need a knee replacement, but the Dr's say I'm not 60 they say I'm to young for a knee replacement ( as knee replacement parts have a minimal part which in my case will only last 10 years ), My knee is bone on bone. so they are holding off. I'm just wondering some one has made a lotion or a potion or what ever that will help me with my knee's. As my life is on hold I can't walk distances, dance or even kick a ball with my grandchildren. I on fosamax, celebrex, panadol, nuroforn, fishoil ,glucosamine and osteroEzeThank you

I am aged 59.I have diabetes for the last 12 yrs and am taking continuous treatment. The sugar level is slightly above normal(HbA1c-6.9%).I have foot burning in my left leg since 4 months and was taking Zeptol 200(Carbamazepine Tab IP) for two months and after that Gabator 300 (Gabapentin Cap).During the time I was taking these medicines, I did not get the burning sensation for about 25 days in a month but I was getting it during 3-5 days in a month only. Now the burning has spread to my right foot during the last 0ne week& the burning is there continuously during the last 10 days.I do not feel the burning when I walk or during sleep. After I wake up, when I start to work in sitting position or relax, my feet start to burn
For Diab, I was taking Euglucon 1 tab two times a day, Melmet-500 (Metformin)1 Tab two times a day and Rezult 2mg once a day with Centrum(A-z). I stopped Rezult 3months ago but added Euglucon half tab two times.
The foot burning is making me restless.Pl. advise.

First, I am taking my son to the doctor, I would not consider this to be a substiute for medical advice, just curious thats why I am posting here. My son is 14, average height, but complains about 3 times a week that he is achy........He is athletic, average weight. He was perfect in height and weight at his last doc visit. He has been very active, but since he aches he has slowed down some. Just curious if others has had these symptoms with their growing pains.

I got a migraine yesterday at around 11, and got one today around the same time. It feels like my eyes are going to explode, the right half of my forehead is pounding, and I'm sick to my stomach. Yesterday's didn't get better until I went to sleep. I've been sleeping since I got home from school at 4, I just got up and my headache is just as bad. I've eaten saltines, drank water and apple juice, and put with a cool wet cloth on my eyes. None of it is helping. I took Advil because it's all we have at our house. I can't concentrate in school when they hit me, I get dizzy and extremely tired, I fell asleep on my friend's shoulder at an academic match while waiting to play quick recall and had to be shaken awake, they said it took a long time to wake me up. What can I do? I woke up to do my homework, it's going to be impossible to do my algebra with this migraine. I've only had 3 or 4 migraines ever, over this summer. I'm 15.

I have bad headaches, not sure if they are migranine since the light and noise do not bother me. I feel as if my head is going to explored and I will end up dying from it. At times I have thrown up from the intensive of the headache, still throwing up doesn't help neither does over the counter meds.

I have spinal stenosis and slight athritus ( both spelt incorrectly) in my lower back. i go to the gym regularly and after a session there is no pain other than a slight discomfort and even before the pain is uncomfortable rather than agony. I have found that recently that I have felt my legs were going to collapse but U knew they were not. Tonight I was waiting for my wife to arrive at tthe station when I felt they were going to collapse and as I walked I felt that I was not using them properly in fact I felt I was losing control of the movement and I could not place them where I wanted to . It felt they were a couple of inches away from whee they should have been and that I was walking like a drunk. I sat down for about three minutes and when the traimn came in I felt OK. I had not bveen drinking. Any Ideas?

I dislocated my knee ccap about 10 times in the past 2 or 3 years. It hurts more and more every time and it takes longer to heal everytime. I just finished about a 2 month physical therapy session. I now have to option of getting my knee scoped b/c i tore the ligament and cartilage that holds my kneecap in place. this should cut out all the stuff thats torn.

1. has anyone ever had this done to them?
2. does it hurt?
3. how long is the recovery process?
4. can u walk right after or do u need to keep it braced or something?

i know my doctor can answer this but i dont see him for about a week and im curious.

thanks.

My dad's lower back has been hurting him for a while now. It's mostly on the left side, right up alongside the spinal column. The pain, he thinks its muscular, goes down his leg as well, which made me think it was sciatica... But the sciatic nerve is in the back of the leg, his leg hurts in the front. The two pains might be completely unrelated sore muscles, but I'm not positive. Any suggestions?
