ok im only 14 and i cant run for a long time because i get KILLER back aches... my back is just seriously screwed up and i have no clue what it is. I went to the doctor earlier and he sent me to physical therapy, that DID NOT help. It just came bak... what should i do and what could this b?

i took four hydrocodone/apap 5mg/500mg tabs in a 24hr period. how many days before it does not show up in a drug screen.

I have had a CT scan-clear,x-ray-clear, kub-clear, urine-clear 4 times and an mri which showed a milid protrusion into the anterior thecal sacat the L5,S1 but that has been deemed normal for a 33 year old male. I have had pain before, but this is unique. It actually disappeared for 3-4 days last week then came back yesterday with a vengeance. It usually is worse in the morning when I first awake and is accompanied by stomach cramps (perhaps I sleep fetal style).Anyway I have seen an internal medicine, urologist,etc. they say its skelatal muscular. Is there ANYTHING those scans may have missed? I am I jusr paranoid and it is simply acute lower right back pain? Just need a 2nd,3rd,4th...opinion. Thanks...this has been ongoing for a month and after the prednisone and other pain meds gave me constipation I am wary of returning to drugs for help. My doc agrees.

I have hypothyroidism, and sometimes I have a lump on my throat. Over the past two days, a large, hard lump has appeared on the underside of my chin. It is very sore; it feels like a bruise. It has gotten bigger and more painful. I know I need to see a doctor, but I am snowed in and I can't go anywhere! Any suggestions on what it could be? Should i brave the weather and go to the Doc?

He has never had headaches before and he all the sudden started getting them. He has had one that he said almost made him pass out and he got a bloody nose. He won't go to the doctor and I am hoping that someone might be able to tell me what might be causing this so if not anything else I might be able to scare him into going to the doctor because I'm worried it's more than just a headache. Thanks.

I've had a common cold for the last two weeks.. last saturday 1/13/2007 I woke up and my ribs on my right hurt.. It hurts when I cough, laugh. I don't know if its' something serious.. people have told me that from coughing I've hurt myself... Is this true.. Any help greatly appreciated.. I don't know what to do.. And I'm not a fan of the doctor.. i hate going there and won't go unless absolutely necessary. Please help... thanks alot

I have been diagnosed by my family doctor as having two bulging disks. I have a lot of pain with them. I am going to a back sugeon tomorrow. I would really like to have some questions ready. I have already tried physical therapy twice and I currently take an anti inflamatory med and Darvocet as needed. Of course I will ask what are my non surgical options. I am only 26 years old and I have had this pain for years so surgery is not completely out of the question. I've heard there is not much they can do besides surgery and therapy.
Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks!!

i am taking an anti inflammatory(diclofenic sodium) drug as well for the last 3 weeks. the pain is dull but never seems to disappear completely.

I am 12 years old...female,and I have had some sort of vaginal infection for two years.It doesn't itch,but I cant control it.It's somewhat yellow and has a bad smell.I havn't started my period.Last March...I bled while having a bowel movement.It only hapened a few times in about 8 months.Now, for the past couple months //and today// it has happened alot.It sort of hurts when It bleeds...Why am I bleeding?

I was diagnosed with sciatica alomst 2 weeks ago. i am in the most unimaginable pain. It started in one leg now in both, my whole back is stiff and sore.

Any tips for self/natural pain management? (i've been on pain killers, they didn't do a great deal but i can't live of them forever.)

i am in my final year of uni so i have a lot of work to do but i can't sit still, i also have 2-4 hour lectures to attend, what can i do to assist me in sitting still for lengthy periods of time?
Tips to help me sleep would also help?

I have tried ice pack, helps a little, and have done all sorts of excercises it's just getting worse.
Doctor says nothing he can do, i am 20, back pain at this age is this a bad sign for me?

i had a chest pain very similar but even worst, and the same night that i had the chest pain i cried a lot.. but i mean a lot and it went away.. why is this happening? and again? is it psychological?

Knee pain and joint support formulas?
I'm considering buying a joint support supplement to help me for the next few weeks while i recover from having terrible runner's knee. I'm 30 and have been running seriously for about a year now. I read that women are more susceptible to knee problems and i want to prevent future deterioration or damage to my knees. Any suggestions on a product or brand? Has this worked for you?

I take Aciphex everyday for my indigestion problems, like acid reflux, yesterday I didn't take it in the morning like I usually do, but I took it at night. Before that I had already had hiccups like 4 or 5 times, and even after taking the Aciphex I had it like 2 or 3 times more, very frequently. What could it be?

He's had this fever for about 4 days now. He says it will go away for a couple of hours but come right back. His doctor says tylenol and advil but that doesnt help. He's been off work for 3 days but now has no sick time and is at work because he cant afford to stay home. Is there a doctor in the house?
