your nails are attched to your skin and it hurts like hell when you bend one back so why doesn't it hurt when they grow? god i'm bored!

because those cells are dead. just like your hair, it doesnt hurt when it grows or when u cut it because those cells are dead.

Maybe because it happens to slow you don't notice, there is a difference between ripping off a nail and it growing slowly

It can if you get ingrown nails. Otherwise, things move so slowly there is no pain nerve impact.
