It is 5:25 in the morning. I have to be up by 6:30. I have been up all night working on homework, and I am still doing so. So: would it be healthier to get half an hour's sleep, or just to stay up until morning?

Last night while me and my partner were getting naughty! My heart suddenly started jumping in my chest and i developed a pins and needles type feeling in my chest, around my mouth and in my hands. My hands clawed up and couldnt straighten them for ages. The feeling lasted about 20/30 mins and it scared me. What could this be? Ive checked on low blood pressure, hyperventilation, and panic attacks but the symptoms dont match. This has happened on about 4 seperate occasions in the past 5 years.

I'm tired as hell, I know I am. I usually go to bed around 9 since I have to get up early, wake up again around 12, then again at 2, and at 4...but when I wake up at 4, I'm awake for a good couple hours before I finally go back to sleep, (usually around 6). Why does my body keep doing this? I could be getting hte best night's sleep but still have to permanently wake up at 4.

Tonight I went to bed around 10 and here I am, awake at 4. I mean, I wake up on average 5-6 times a night but for some reason I just can't stay asleep around this time. Help?

Growing up, I was always put to sleep in daytime; parents were drunks and it was easier on them to hollar @ me until I cried myself to sleep, my baysitter had 5 kids of her own, most of who were ill so she'd put us to sleep in front of tv for as long as we slept (6 or more hours). I feel like I am trained to sleep ALL day. Hubby says that I should just grow out of it, all of a sudden. We've been together over 15 yrs; he knew what I was like b4 he proposed.... Thanks for all clear understanding conversations on this matter, regardless of which way you think is best.

This wht happened---last the temperature was 60 but tday when i got up it was -8...crazy.but,i took my shower and i wore my jacket and i left to school.in school,i started shivering with lil headache n i jus carried on.later, felt really bad, started walkin back home shivering more as i moved further.went home switched on the heater.the whole body shivered couldnt control it.this continued for 40 mins and i jus went into the comforters still shivering for 30 more mins before i fell asleep.
when i got up after 2 hours i was as normal as i was b4.
What happened to me ...? i felt my heart rate was very low...but i cant get to a logical reason.

hi
ive noticed that my eyes usually get red durring the day, they dont itch but they do get alittle watery, mostly bloodshot.

i was wondering if it was the makeup i use? i get enough sleep so i know its not that.

can it happen from straining the eyes? im supposed to wear glasses but never do. could that be it?

anyway i just want to know if anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it. =/

thanks!

my friend is on social secuity disability and has Medicare health insurance, her daughter is on Minnesota Care, right now things are ok cause she is about $60 under the line of making to much for her daughter to be on the Minnesota care, from what I understand if she got a job and made that extra money each month she would go over the limit and her daughter would be cut off, I am also on social security disability and I know that the amount we get goes up every year, in a few years when the amount she gets from social security is more than the limit will her daughter be cut off or does that only count if she makes the extra money working? Sorry if this does'nt make sense, I can't think of how to word it.

Is it based on the time of diagnosis or the time the condition was likely to have originated? For example, what if I take out health insurance and a week later I go to the doctor and get diagnosed with cancer? I didn't know about it beforehand but the insurance company says the lump must have taken months to develop? What's the outcome?

I went to bed at 11:00 P.M. last night and got out of bed at 7:30 very normal for me except I was so tired that after being awake for 2 hours I had to go back to bed and sleep some more. I went back to bed and sleept for 2 more hours but then I was still very tired. I tried to stay away but again after another hour and half I had to go back to bed, and I slept some more!!! Now it is 2:15 P.M. and I feel great! But I am afraid that I won't sleep tonight. I wonder why I was so tired today?

Like, one minute I'd be totally normal, then suddenly I'd feel like I'm about to pass out or something. It's really scaring me.

Yes, I have passed out before so I know what it feels like.
