Your system doesn't need to be cleaned,and it's not a good idea to take things to deliberately give yourself diarrhea. If your diet contains both soluble and insoluble fiber from the fruits, veggies, and whole grains- you have been cleaning it all along. Your gut also contains bacteria that are necessary for proper digestion and absorption of nutrients, and diarrhea tends to wipe them out and upset the normal balance of things. Unless you have diverticulitis, your colon has no pockets for things to get lost in, so you don't need to do anything. The system is designed to take care of itself and it won't appreciate your help at all.

Try milk of magnesia. I took this after being on narcotics for a week in the hospital and didn't have a bowel movement the whole time and it worked amazing!

If you're not constipated, don't bother. There seems to be a myth floating around that the colon needs to be flushed of various toxins to prevent disease... absolutely not true.
