hi
ive noticed that my eyes usually get red durring the day, they dont itch but they do get alittle watery, mostly bloodshot.

i was wondering if it was the makeup i use? i get enough sleep so i know its not that.

can it happen from straining the eyes? im supposed to wear glasses but never do. could that be it?

anyway i just want to know if anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it. =/

thanks!

i say rule out each possibility one by one.

could very logically be eyestrain.

could very logically be that you are allergic to make up. or even your make up needing to be thrown out due to too much bacteria in it.

could be something in your environment. such as the air being really dry, regardless of it being hot or cold. could be wind.

have you tried using eye drops?
i would go to a optometrist and see what they think.

It could be either, but you need to take action now to stop the irritation. It probably is your make up, but why aren't you wearing glasses, if you need them. Your eyes won't get any better or stronger, so find out what keeps you from wearing them. They make some lovely frames now so no reason not to look great in glasses. Or buy contacts. But don't be vain and not wear glasses, for your eyes will suffer in the long run.
As to the irritation, you can get Visine at the druggist, and see what that does. If it continues for a week, either try your glasses or go to your eye doctor for a consultation. You only get ONE set of eyes, not like your 2 sets of teeth. Protect what you have. The next time you see a blind man/woman ask them how it is to not have sight. Then put your glasses on. Have a great day.

Yes, it can happen from eyestrain. If you are supposed to wear glasses then wear them or get contacts.
