Hillary Clinton comes closest to knowing how to get the job done. If you read the questions in health and disease, you will see that so many people cannot afford health care, through no fault of their own. Many elderly people have to choose between getting their prescriptions filled or eating for the week.
You can go to www.institutedc.org to download a 35 page booklet on where to go for Free or Low Cost Prescription Drugs. Most Drug companies will give free or low cost drugs, but they do not advertise. The drugs are listed and the phone numbers to call are under them. You will have to prove that you cannot afford to purchase the drugs needed for your health care. But I think this is a great website.

Yes, I think there's a problem:
Too many elderly have no insurance, medicaid doesn't pay enough and their medicines are too expensive.

Too many babies die because their families don't have money for an ER.

Everyone suffers in this country. We all have aches and pains and conditions, but only the middle to high class have adequate care.

Ask a teacher. She'll tell you all about the kids who are sick and coughing sent to school because mom absolutely has to work.

Ask the nurses about the feverish kids or the infected wounds all that need a doctor's care, but their parents have only enough money to eat and sleep.

How to fix it? I don't know enough about medicine, lawmaking and bureaucracy to exert influence toward change.

But from today on, I promise I'll watch for the people that have the power to make things change, the ones who stand for health care reform, and support them.

I would put a fence on the border, like they voted to and start shipping all of the illegals back. Even the sick ones.

Let Mexico and other countries take care of their own. Do you realize just how much is being spent on the illegals burned in the CA fires? Mexico only reimburses 10 percent at the most.

I would stop all food stamps, benefits, etc for illegals. And send them back to their respective countries along with a bill from the IRS for the resources they used, including the unpaid taxes.

Then I would spend that same amount of money on US citizens.

restore the right to sue doctors most especially if they are with holding treatment and pushing drugs instead.

pay doctors on their ability to treat their patients

make more modalities of treatment available to patients

treat the source not the surface problems.
