you should not eat after 7. my dad does the same thing, he is younger, in his 30's, and he also gets heartburn, he takes heartburn medication, i get heartburn when i eat too much grease, but sometimes he gets it for no reason, im sure it is genetic. i recommend laying off the greasy foods, or at least cutting down, they are no good for you, and you will feel better without them. greasy foods is most likely the cause.

Just before you go to bed is the worst time to eat. Greasy foods tend to give you acid reflux anyway. If this continues you could try to put something under the head of you bed to elevate it or you may need meds to reduce the acid.
