my friend is on social secuity disability and has Medicare health insurance, her daughter is on Minnesota Care, right now things are ok cause she is about $60 under the line of making to much for her daughter to be on the Minnesota care, from what I understand if she got a job and made that extra money each month she would go over the limit and her daughter would be cut off, I am also on social security disability and I know that the amount we get goes up every year, in a few years when the amount she gets from social security is more than the limit will her daughter be cut off or does that only count if she makes the extra money working? Sorry if this does'nt make sense, I can't think of how to word it.

your question makes perfect sense..no she will not loose the coverage because that 3% that her check goes up yearly because the minumium income allowed to get the coverage will also go up by the 3% or what ever % the government decided to apply for that year (now it's my turn to say if that makes sense)

you should also tell your friend to call Social Security because her daughter should also be eligible for benefits because her mother is receiving them, im not sure if that applies to the medicare or not but the SS workiors would know
