I used to use it a lot until my brother opened his mouth. Now I don't use it much but does it really clean your hands? When you use it, it's supposed to kill some germs on your hands, right? Okay so do the germs stay on your hands dead? Or do they vanish like magic? Wouldn't your hands still be 'dirty' even if you use a hand sanitizer? What is it meant for exactly? To use as an alternate way to clean your hands to get ready to eat? Or what?

I need more sleep than other people I am 38 and recently I quit smoking. Would that be a reason for it?

Recently (a few months) i have started feeling really weak, like i cant grip things right. and i feel really tired quickly, like walking up the stairs and stuff.
Sometimes i go dizzy, and today my mum said i looked really pale and i felt dizzy and sick, but i felt better after i ate a biscuit. sometimes my vision goes fuzzy or dark, like when i get that tired feeling. Im not sure what it could be, i was thinking maybe stress or overtiredness.
I am asthmatic and 15
what could it be?

Does anyone know where I can find a doctor that provides phone/internet consultations? I'm tired of going to doctors who I have to wait 3 months for an appointment, and then they only see me for about 3 minutes anyway!

I have an Health Savings Account plan, so I don't mind paying out of pocket from my HSA account.

I have a really dodgy posture where i slump by shoulders forward and stick my pelvis and stomach out. It actually feels more comfortable that way and everyone tells me im lazy, but im not cause i dont even know im doing it.

Please no smart alec replies and no i dont want a back brace so dont suggest that.

I am getting my soft palate reduction, adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy at the same time.

I have a couple of questions, i would rather have the general public address than the doctor. Because all the doctor can give me is statistics and 'rare' occassions.

Is bleeding of the throat prevalent after the surgery?
I heard i would not get my original voice back after the surgery, how true is this?
Would i lose weight, after the surgery?
How long would i have to go without solid food?
Should spicy food be avoided at all costs, after the surgery?
Would i be more prone to infections and allergies after the surgery?

I'm having this surgery because i have OSA - Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

I smoked a cigarette and didn't brush my teeth for a whole day; the next day I had this sore. The reason I didn't brush is because I was recovering from jetlag and was sleeping all day.

Is this why I got this sore?

I was referred to an Ophthalmologist from my GP with a serious eye condition that I was told by several Optometrists needed immediate attention with almost daily checking. When I went to the doctor, he said it was indeed serious but didn't explain anything, prescribed a strong medication that can cause long-term damage if taken too long and then left his technicians, who knew nothing of my problem, to check up on me only after 2 weeks after my original appt (he was on vacation apparently). They then didn't contact me for another 2 weeks to tell me to stop taking the medication. This medication should never be taken that long (as I am told by my optometrist and another MD) and one needs to slowly wean oneself from it, which I was not told to do. Although I took myself off the medication beforehand, I want the world to know how bad this doctor treated me without litigating. What should I do that will make them take notice? Websites, complaints, etc.??? Thanks.

So for the 4 past days, my heart or stomach or whatever inside me is pumping kinda hard. Kinda scary.. I don't have much of an appetite sometimes & If I sleep lying down flat it gets kind of uncomfortable. My doctor says I'm dehydrated. Is this really dehydration?? If so, how much longer til it goes away when its treated? =/ & I need some tips on getting better. Besides drinking lots of water cause its what i've been doing for the past 3 days.

What can I do to get an energy boost without using caffeine? I get tired relatively early in the evening (about 9:00pm), I could sleep for a full 8 hours. I'd rather get tired a little later and sleep an hour less. Caffeine is bad for me, any suggestions?

The job I interviewed for said I'd need to take a phsycial if I was hired. I've never had one before. What's involved? Also a couple people told me I'd have to get naked. Is that true? Can I refuse? I'm absolutely 10000% not comfortable getting naked infront of anyone, including doctors that have seen anyone, and I'd avoid it at all costs (including getting this job). Is there anyway I can refuse to get naked, and still get a complete physical?
