You touch a very favorite subject of mine. i always remember what my father used to say to me whenever I slouch. Stomach in, chest out for a good posture. And I always remind myself to do this. Here are my own tips:
1) Post it on the fridge door to remind yourself for a healthy living such as drink 8 glasses of water a day. This washes out the toxins out off your system. Maintain a good posture.

2) Remember the many benefits of a good posture. No incidence of back pain. Exudes self-confidence.
3) When you walk, pretend you are a model with an erect posture.
4) Refrain from the use of backpacks. But if you must, try not to overload it.
5) In class, sit-up straight. with the tip of your sacrum or your tailbone against the back of the chair.
6) While driving, do abdominal exercises. This makes for stronger abdominal muscles and backs and thus good posture. Backs are not meant to be exercised. You increase the strain on your back from flabby abdominal muscles.
7) Try walk exercising with a book on your head. It really works.
8) Habitual slouching makes for bad back curvatures and problems. My sister always slouches, now, she's saddled with scolosis and a hump back.
9) Take calcium supplements and drink milk. That make for strong bones.

I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Mostly you just have to be conscious of your posture. I've heard of pretending there is a string attached to you that pulls you up. However, that never really worked for me. Poor posture is actually a sign of weak core muscles, the muscles in your back and abdomen. I have learned the hard way that this leads to great pain and physical therapy. So first, you need to start strengthening those muscles. My therapist recommends Pilates but any stretches that concentrate on those muscles will help. Second, when you sit, pull in the muscles of your abdomen and think about lifting your chin and straightening your shoulders. At first it will be awkward and even a little uncomfortable. But after a while, no only will you get used to it, but it will be uncomfortable to slouch. When you do straighten, feel the sensation of being able to breath easier. I am always amazed at how my lungs seem to open up. It's a great motivator.

i understand this could sound extraordinary and that i do no longer understand in case you will realize it becasue i would be unable to coach you rapidly however the way you are able to desire to stand is which contain your shoulders returned and your chest form of out. you will understand youre in the main suitable place because of the fact your shoulder blades would be astounding against your returned. Like somone else stated you are able to desire to attempt this for 3 weeks or maybe in the journey that your purely taking a rapid walk to the bathing room. walk with a straigtht returned. For sitting you do no longer could desire to do it as plenty yet yopu could desire to placed a pillow in the back of you. solid luck P.S. do no longer worry i'm engaged on my undesirable posture too :D

find someone you know that lifts weights or take classes at the gym, you dont have to lift to look like the hulk but it will teach how to get in a good posture.
