I have difficulty in urinating. I seem to have great difficulty in starting, and so it can take me a while, sometimes over 2 minutes, and that's embarrassing if I'm around people, cuz most people have no problems and they are in and out. I'm 20 years old, and it is very difficult to be social, and go out to busy crowded places, if I'm having problems down there, especially since all we do is booze it up (not me as you can see). You know, if someone's waiting, it makes me nervous and it's even harder. Anyway so I have a delay in urination, sometimes even difficulty, I cannot go, and I try again later. I also don't like to drink too much, because then I have to go more frequently (if I drink regularly I have to go every hour-hour and a half or so, and it becomes a problem (sometimes I have to go more often). It's also embarrassing if other people notice I have bladder problems, even friends. I guess I should see a doctor and just see if there's anything wrong. It could even be anxiety.

My friend is currently in pharmacy school and says he is bound to make around $100,000 after he gets out. I was wondering what a Dr. of Pharmacy does differently than say a Pharmacuetical Technician that supports paying them much more money. Do they have more liability or something. Not ment to offend any Dr. of Pharmacy I just want to know. Thanks.

I accidentally ingested something that I shouldn't have, and now I need to get it out of my system.
I have a small phobia of using the gag reflex, are there any other ways to induce vomiting?

I am not bulimic, just scared for my health.

My brother is experiencing palpitations of the heart. It's been going on for the last 5 days or so. He only feels it after 1pm and it happens at rest and during work as a sales clerk. He's not overly stressed, but is a little stressed about making enough money. He's experienced this before when he took caffeine pills a few years ago but made sure not to take caffeine recently. He doesn't workout and I would say he's pretty lazy playing world of warcraft most of the day when he's not working 30 hr/week. His heart will skip a beat a few times a minute or more during the worst times, but not usually that often. He said it's been getting worse. He doesn't have health insurance and does not want to go to the hospital unless it's a major issue. He wants to wait to see if it will get better on its own. It kept him from sleeping, that's when we talked about it, and now he's going to try sleeping again. I don't know what to do about the situation.

Lately, I've been feeling very tired when I get up for school in the morning.
I get my 8-9 hours of sleep like I'm supposed to. I was then told that it was probably because I was the kind of person that didn't need much sleep. So, the next night I got less sleep, but I was still tired.

Whether it's a full night's sleep or not, I still feel exhausted by the end of the day.
Can anyone help me?

Hi, I am getting the HMO health plan through my job, and most co-payments are only about 10 dollars, but it shows nothing on how much I pay if for example I need surgery, It does say however that the most I could be charged in one year is $1,500 dollars by the hospitals. Even x-rays have no co-payment though if I need it and vasectomys cost about 100 dollars. My co workee had surgery worth over $5,000, but her insurance paid it all, how do you know what they pay, and when you are asked to pay? I am going in for a ailing left wrist I messed up at work, but no break occured, will I be charged even with insurance(blue cross).

I was just sitting, and suddenly I farted. But it felt like it was abit wet, so I checked with my hand. It didn't really seem like diarhea, and was transparent, so I smelled it. It felt and smelled like oil, and when i wiped some on a tissue, it was yellow.

I am going camping, and I have to be on a bus with a tour group for about 4 hours. After we get off the bus, we wil be doing rigourous camping things like pitching tents and taking hikes right away. Should I take dramamine before the 4 hour bus ride, or will it make me too sleepy to do anything when I get to the camp? Im confused. And, no, I dont have enough time to get the non-drowsy stuff at a pharmacy, too busy.

I wear full upper and lower dentures. I soak them every night and brush them and my gums and tongue every day . So I don't believe it is caused from not having good oral habits. This just started about a week ago and seems to becoming more noticeable in the last days. Could this be a heath problem? I also can say I'm not pregnant for I know some pregnant women also has had this happen. Anyone that could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

It is very sore when i eat, drink, or do just about anything with my mouth. Will it have to be exratacted?? I also have braces and a platal expander where the extra tooth is comming in. If I get it extracted will it affect my braces and how straight my teeth are now? I only have 3 more months in braces to go!

Know which organization establishes the minimum standards for hospital services?

2007-10-14 02:38:57 · 2 answers · asked by sean o 1

For about the last 4 or so years I have had a problem with water retention, mainly in my feet and ankles. They swell a lot, and its not something that comes on over the day, I have it when I get up and it can be really bad by 10.00am. It's spreading now though. I have had to take my wedding ring off, and even my eyelids swell sometimes. I am overweight, but exercise, especially walking makes my shins and calves really hurt, even after just a few minutes at a vigourus pace. Been to Docs a few times over the years, but despite loads of blood tests they have come up with nothing. s'really bad because I am already a size 8 in shoes and I cannot get anything to fit my feet anymore.
